Last night I got throw off my Arabian it was my fault and his!! My cell phone went off, (normally he doesn't get scared at that), he prance right into the electric fence, hit my leg and arm against it the shock went right through me to him and he took off bucking!! I naturally yelled "Whoa" but that didn't help!! I landed right on the eletric fence and was shocked once again!! I walked back to the barn and he followed me... I'm so sore I can barely walk!!! Anyone else have this kind of experence!

I'm always amazed that breeders or scientists haven't created a dog or cat which would stay the size and look of a puppy or kitten - i would think it inhumane if they did but its a question all the same.....

Do they need their freedom although they haven't grown up in nature? And also... Are owls a death symbol? I mean, do owls warn us that someone is going to die by crying?

For over a year i fostered dogs, it was very rewarding.
But there is such a shortage of foster carers we really need more people to be aware of fostering.
Would any of you consider taking the time to do this very rewarding charity work?

I have just got a new pet rabbit and I was wondering what I can do to keep him entertained? Firstly during the day when I'm at work, he is loose in a 25ft x 4 ft run so he has plenty of room to run around but I was wondering if there is anything i can put in that he could play with? Also when I come home is there anything in particular that they like to do/play. Obviously i pet him and give him little food treats but as a new bunny owner I was just wondering if there was more I could do for him to make his life happy.

Thanks

I've been taking care of an orphaned squirrel for a day now and have read that before opening their eyes they need to be stimulated to pee or poo. the squirrel has not yet opened its eyes but it is definetely pooping on its own and almost certain it has peed on its own. it is not, however, resonding to the stimulation...is this because it is doing it on its own? or should i be concerned? should i continue to try to stimulate it even though its not working?
