I give him all the treats in the world, I probably spend 30 bucks a month on just treats for his butt, so it is not because he's going hungry trust me, and I give him hay. Trust me he is spoiled out the a**. AND the dog food is in my room where the dog is, he just happens to go in my room every once in a while and everytime he does he goes straight for the dog food.

Sometimes animals tend to eat different kinds of foods. Just like when a dog eats cat food or the other way around. It is probably just a phase and probably will stop eventually. But rabbits don't have to be vegatarians they usually eat what they think tastes good.

The rabbit shouldn't eat dog food very often, since it is not a proper diet for a rabbit. Pets often get bored with their pellets and like other foods. do you give your rabbit any hay or fresh grass? They do like a variety of plants to eat. Your rabbit may like dog food due to salt content for some taste the dog food has. It won't be healthy if it eats a lot of dog food. Rabbits shouldn't eat meat protein or so much fat. They need lots of roughage.

My rabbit likes chicken, pizza, pepperoni and some other odd stuff... is it good for him... no... but after bringing him to the fairs for so many years, he has had the chance to try these things and loved them. Its amazing what parents let little kids throw in cages. Hes also tried cotton candy and carmel apples. For the most part, yes rabbits are vegetarians, but they will try other things. Sometimes they just like to gnaw on things. Maybe he/she likes the texture....

Have you ever looked at the ingredients in dogfood. The first one is usually corn meal There are not very many real meat products in dog food,I don't think Commander Bun-bun will get sick from this. I am assuming that this is dry food you are talking about.

Don't tell the rabbit that. For the longest time vegeterians were going to McDonalds and ordering french fries that were fried with a form of beef or beef fat. McDonalds has since switched oils.

Because rabbits eat whatever you give them! You should better stop your rabbit from eating your dog's food. Give it some vegetables instead! Dog's food can be too heavy for your rabbit's stomach!

the only way the rabbit could get dog food is if you have left it for the rabbit. my rabbit is unable to shop for himself, but would buy only rabbit food including fresh leafy greens. rabbits are not designed to eat animal products. perhaps, you could move the bowl of dog food???
