Can anyone tell me the causes of the popularity of kangaroo?

Kangaroo only live in Australia even though you can bump into some petit ones in Papua.

They have a bag in their tummy to carry their baby. Cool.

They can jump as far as 8 meters / 32 feets.

They are actually rat that have gone through an evolution using their tail to help them jump. The tail push their body in such a way like a cattapult.

They have four legs but the front legs are much smaller than the others.

The back part of their body is much bigger than the front enabling them to stand almost vertically.

Last but not least... they are cute

I think its due to the pouch and they seem like good Moms. They have been exploited in older television shows by being made to wear boxing gloves etc and some people may have gotten attached to them after seeing them on there. They have a long nose and I like animals with long muzzles (horses and dogs) it makes them see friendly
