I have two hamsters and tonight I realized that one of them has wet tail. I don't know what could be stressing her out, I've had her for months in the same cage and she has been fine. She still seems to be eating and grooming. She feels weaker and lighter than before and has much less energy although she isn't completely lethargic. I picked her up today and noticed her belly is soaked in diarrhoea She made have had it yesterday, but I’m not sure, I checked on her once to feed her but I had a ton of homework so I didn't take her out or hold her. She ate most of her food from then. I have cleaned the cages from both hamsters and moved the healthy one to a new room. I also fed the sick hamster water with a new syringe we had left in a pack from when my mom took insulin shots (I removed the needle of course).

Ivory (pet rat) just had 15 babies. Today they are two days old and she hasn't gone back into her nest in 2 hours. They have been crying for her and everything and she still hasn't gone back.

Did she abandon them?

If so, how can I get her back to them, like re-introduce her to them?

I thought he was trying to get some, but he just straight bites her and during the whole time, his tail is twitching frantically and his fur is puffed out.

I really thought he was in heat but now I'm not sure. He is 4 weeks and the female is 3 weeks. She really likes him and after the chaos, calmly walks over to him to see if he's ok, but he just starts back up again attacking her.

What's going on, and what can I do? She really likes him and wants to be with him but it pains me to see him attack her.

Thanks

Are they the same subspecies, did horses evolve from the Zebra ? Can you cross an Australian Saltwater Crocodile with an African Nile Croc or American Gatta ?

Hey there
I know this question might be a bit odd but the fact is that ive run out of ideas! I love to teach my horse tricks like laying down, bowing and rearing on command ect ect. Im currently in the process of teaching him to fetch a stick and spanish walk (slowly but surely)! If anyone has any cool and quirky ideas for potential horse tricks id love to hear bout them!!!!

Foxes?
Cats?
Any other animal that you know of?

It occured to me that dogs like to roll in foxes mess and children like to pet the dogs and I found myself wandering if this is dangerous. Please help so my mind is at ease (or I become extra vigilant)!

Any ideas how to stop my creek from freezing.I have to go and break the ice 1-2 times a day for the horses. So I was thinking that this spring if I built a wall for a waterfall or a paddle wheel to keep the water moving.I hate carrying water to the barn and I still have to break the ice and the horse make such a mess, with the creek it's fresh clean water.I've been doing this for 25yrs and I'm not getting any younger and I thought I would see what yahoo answers had to offer. Thanks

I want to buy a good quality western saddle pad that will be very comfortable for my horse. I am looking at the Professional's Choice brand. Has anyone used these? If so do you like them? Are there other brands that make orthopedic or shock absorbing pads that will make my horse as comfortable as possible? I already bought a saddle, which is a great fit on my horse, I would just like to find a pad that he will be comfortable with. Thanks!

My 8 year old Boxer had to be put to sleep 4 hours ago because he had a brain tumour. We really hurt, he was having seizures in the last few days of his life and was really destressed etc. my trouble now is the dog he left behind. I`m really worried about our other dog, we got them as young pups together, they`ve only known each other, she`s an insecure terrier and relied on her big boxer friend - how do I deal with her grief?

On this site people with pregnant dogs are jumped upon and told its their obligation to have them spayed or neutered but when a cat is in heat they say get a male or get her what she wants. What is the difference? There are just as many unwanted cats in the world as dogs.I tell them both the same. I don't get it.
