my krab has just dies and i have 2, so since it dies i now have 1. I dont know what gender they both are but when the one died i got the dead krab out of its shell and stuck it in a box to burry the reason why i got the dead krab out is so my alive krab could move into its shell... but strangely this morning i found 2 krabs and whats wierd is my krab dies about 3 weeks ago. my question is did it have babies or did i leave a leg in the shell and it grew back its body? and now the new krab is larger then the other, so im not sure if one of the krabs had babies/

My hubby and I are moving into a place that only allows small animals that live mainly in cages (birds, ferrets, etc.) We were wanting to get something cute and fuzzy but that is also easy to care for vet-wise. I've had hamsters before and they weren't friendly at all, in fact, they tried to eat each other. So what's a good small pet that's friendly and easy to care for?

I've been wanting a pet rat, I have done a lot of research on them, but of course it's always best to hear things from people who've actually owned or raised one.
would u recommend it, or advise to look for an alternate pet?

Should I let him play in the ball? This is the first day I bought it and he seems to like it. When I put him back in the cage he is gnawing at the railings to come out. It says on the hamster care book that you shouldnt let them play more than 15mins or they will get bored and tired. Is my hamster running so much because he is bored? Im really confused please help!

I was just curious as to if; they would live peacefully in the same cage... My guess is probably not...But if you have done it let me know how it went and what happened..

we are trying to remove an odor cause by a carpet cleaner on top of a cat urine odor. I was trying to remove the cat urine odor, and used a carpet cleaner spray, now the odor is worse than before. I've heard that the Ozone generator might help. Any suggestions?

We just got a 10 month old colt, and he seems to be kinda sore on one side of his mouth - he is rubbing it on his hay net and on anything else he can find, a lot more than the other side. We were wondering if anyone knew whether he is just teething normally or if there could be something wrong that he needs to see the dentist for?

She is registered AQHA and someday I would like to show or sell her to someone that will show her. This is a nice little mare but she already has a few scars and is in no perfect condition. Last Friday she laid down to roll and put her foot through our fence cutting her cannon bone and another spot on her heel bulb of her left hind leg. At that time about 3/4in of bone was visible. But on Tuesday morning when I last changed her dressing the bone was already covered with flesh again. Now - most people have told me to keep a firm wrap on the injuries to keep them clean and keep her from getting bad proud flesh (and that is what I had planned to do). But other people have told me that letting the injury get more air and dry out would be better for her.
I will be changing the dressing this evening - cleaning with betadine, applying a little nitrofurozone, a light non-stick guaze pad, and vetrap. Should I try not wrapping it? Im scared its too wet still and it will get dirty.

Please take a look the the website below. This horse belongs to a nice lady in Bryan Tx. Her horse was brutally killed. The killers go to court on Wendsday. Probaly the most they will get is a slap on the wrist, due to the fact that the cruelty laws do not include horses, cows, sheep, goats, or other farm animals. Her horse was chased around the pasture, struck in the head with a polo mallet, had her throat cut, and then was stabbed in the chest. Please write, phone, or do whatever needs to be done to make the horse community heard to the lawmakers of this country, so this does not happen again with severe punishment to the people who commit these crimes.

my year old Dutch sneezes. Sometimes as much as Twenty times in a row. We have taken her to the vet they gave us Vibramycin Syrup. This clears it up for a short time but then she starts up again. The vet says this may be a on going condition. Is anyone else out there dealing with the same problem? She eats, drinks, sleeps, plays, unlimited supply of hay. I buy bales of timothy from a nearby farm.

I have a 10 month old filly that has been diagnosed with either EPM or wobblers. The only way that they can tell for sure is to have her get a myleogram. Unfortunately, I cannot afford this treatment for her. If she doesn't get a myleogram to pinpoint what is wrong with her then she will have to be put down. I simply cannot handle that and would like for her to have a chance at living if she can be treated. I haven't stopped crying since we got her bloodwork back and the thought of having to euthanize her just tears me up. I am in Fort Worth, Texas if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.
