Please don't use glue traps. Mice have been known to gnaw off their own limbs and tear off their skin in an effort to escape, as they starve or dehydrate to death or suffocate in the glue. It can take three to five days for them to die.
If you already have a live mouse stuck in a glue trap, you will need to pour some vegetable oil around the parts of his body that are stuck to loosen the glue. Attempting to just yank him off may take off his skin as well. After applying the oil, gently push the mouse off the trap using a pencil or spoon. Do this inside a box, so you can then take the mouse outside to release him.
I answered your other question about live traps, but will repeat my answer here for others who might be interested:
I've had great success with this live trap in my house:
http://veganstore.com/index.html?stocknumber=266
It’s also available for $2 cheaper here (although I prefer to buy it from the other place since I’m not a big fan of PETA):
https://www.petacatalog.org/prodinfo.asp?number=HP200
I've caught over a dozen mice with it so far and it can be used over and over indefinitely. Or, you can try making the free homemade humane trap described here:
http://www.helpinganimals.com/wildlife_livingWithMice.asp
If you do live trap mice, please be sure to check the traps several times a day and release the mice promptly, approximately a mile away from your home. It is much more cruel to allow a mouse in a live trap to slowly starve to death than to kill it quickly with a snap trap. When you release the mice, do it in an area with some sheltering bushes or plants. If you are a kind person, you might also leave a little bird seed or oatmeal for them, along with some shredded paper towel for bedding. .
Poison isn't any better than glue traps, as the mice die slowly and painfully from internal bleeding. It can take up to a week for them to die, and then they smell as they rot behind your walls.
It doesn't take much extra effort to be kind. You will feel better and so will the mice! Good luck!

Don't leave the mouse there to suffer. The mouse won't die from the papper. Call a humane society to help you take the mouse somewhere where it will be safe. While you are waiting give the mouse some water and food. If you don't want to wait take the mouse outsied. Try to take it far away from your house so it woun't just come back. Take it about a mile away so it won't come back. If you don't think that the mouse can wait you should take it away your self. The papper won't help you with your problem. What ever you do don't kill the mouse.

I think sticky paper is cruel and even rubber gloves won't protect you against a bite. There are humane traps you can use and then release the mouse far away from your home. If you just let it out, it'll come right back in.

This is really a personal choice but if you put him in the back yard you will be catching him again and again-Unfortunately most people let it die-remember it can be dangerous because house mice are not like pet mice they carry a lot of germs and being bitten may harm you-if you want to take him off the paper use heavy leather gloves because they can bite through the others-ood luck

It depends if you want it to die or not. If you don't then get thick gloves and run the stuff under warm water and soap and slowly peel away the mouse. put it in a container that it can't get out of to let it dry off and throw in some bread or cereal then toss it outiside and let it on its little way.

shoot it with a B.B. gun then get a shovel and pick it up. put it in a bag and trash it. I once had an appartment that had mice...I purchased a daisy bb gun. While watching tv at night, these little bastards would run out of the wall and scamper across the floor into another hole. Like a soldier gaurding my area...i would cath these guys running across the floor then i'd spray them with my b.b. gun. After killing about ten of these b a s ta rds. they must have packed up an moved elsewhere. my mouse problem was solved. BUST A CAP IN THEM!!!!!
