How old is your puppy? Maybe he just misses his littermates. He'll snap out of it. Just give him lots of love and attention.

Try taking him out. Let him run your errands with you. Puppy training classes to get his mind off of things. =)

Good luck!

You mean he was happy, and now suddenly seems sad? Are there any changes in your home that he might not like? Does he cheer up when you play with him?
If he is suddenly sad, and nothing in his life has changed since he was acting happy, he might be sick. If he doesn't cheer up when you play with him, he is almost certainly sick.

Cuddle him and give him hugs...and play with him some more. Let him give you a big, wet, doggy kiss if you have to. He probably isn't used to the surroundings, that's all. Don't worry, it will all come in time.

Make sure you spend lots of time with him. Use training sessions and potty sessions--everything-- for bonding and companionship.

Take him to work with you if possible so he isn't home alone all day.

some breeds always look sad... dogs are loyal creatures, might still be wondering where it's first owner is... give it a few days.. if he doesn't become happy... keep trying.
