Yes, many people own zorses but they are much more like zebras than like horses. Here is a picture of a zorse.

And I have heard of this one guy who domesticated an alligator. Watch the video..

A zorse is the offspring of a zebra stallion and a horse mare. Zebras, donkeys, and horses are all members of the family equus - Equines. Equines can be crossbred to produce hybrids

Don't know about the crocs tho. I wouldn't say we can't domesticate a croc but some one would need to start and it would take 100's of years before they were domestic. We didn't just grab a wolf and make it a dog overnight.

Well wikpedia says there are crocodile farms so the domestication process has began. And they can be cross-bred. "while a hybrid of the Saltwater and the rare Siamese Crocodile is also bred in Asian farms"

i dont know about cross breeding the crocodiles but a horse and a zebra can have offspring, even though it is easier if you use a donkey. and horses did not evolve from zebra, but zebra did come from the same stock as the steppe horses of Europe at the dawn of humanity, they just evolved into their own subspecies. and riding zebras could happen, if you like an animal that has a horrible temper. crocs and gators though, that is not a wise idea, they take bite the hand that feeds you wayyy too seriously.

There is a cross between zebras and horses already out, zorses I think they are called. It is said that a zebras back is not strong enough to carry a person, but crossed with a horse?....
