My 8 mth old cat (which we always joke about and say he has mental problems) will sit (after some1 has taken a shower)for an hour just watching the drops slowly move down the shower wall. I will even go in and spray some more water on the wall just so he some more to stare at. HA!HA! Is he nuts or what? tell me some of the funny things your pet does.

This dog (skin and bones) came to my house a year ago. I cared for it for 2 days and fell in love. He was starved when he got here but i took care of him, My mother called animal control. The lady came and picked him up, but he was abused in his former home. 2 days a week i go to his house to see if the dog is ok, (secretly) but the owner keeps him on a 2 foot chain, he can barely reach his bowl. I help the SPCA (im only 12) and i raise money for animals in need. I love animals, and i want to save this one. I Pray to god to let that suffering dog make it to my house again, but my prayers are never answered. I want to save him, and i need help. Ive thought about stealing him but i know id get caught. I love this dog, i know its just an animal but I really feel sad for him. What do i do? Ive been praying for his safety for a year now, i want to help gods creation....Im really confused...what do i do? im only 12...what can i do?

I have 2 ferrets, a male, Sigma, who is one year old and a female, Muffin, who is about 4 months old. Now about 3 weeks ago I ran out of the Marshall ferret food that Sigma eats, the only thing he'll touch. I ran out and got ferret diet at my pet store across the street and Muffin ate it happily and I figured Sigma was eating it, too, or would when he got hungry enough. I ordered the marshall food online and while I waited for it to arrive I noticed Sigma's rear end shrinking. We read online and made a paste of the new food and tried to make him lick it, but that didn't go too well even after he hadn't eaten for 2 days. I looked everywhere and found some extra pellets under a cabinet so he ate a little bit each day until the food came. Now it's two weeks later and he's eating fine and playing, but the weight doesn't seem to be coming back. I'm not sure how worried I should be, but I can't afford to take him to the vet just yet ($50 to tell me he's fine? no.) Can anyone help?

I have heard that some breeds or species of rats have a healthier gene pool than the run-of-the-mill pet store rats do. I love rats enmormously but find it difficult have them since I know it's not for very long. Sigh. I once met a girl that had a wild rat as a pet-very healthy animal, but they are illegal to sell in Canada. So, anyone have the down-low on rats?

I bought 2 baby gerbils on Saturday, and they are tamed and will eat from your hand. They won't eat fresh fruits or veggies. The only thing they'll eat is sunflower seeds. Is this a bad sign? I've tried carrots(they ate a few bites the first time I gave it to them), apples, oranges, and bananas.

I have a 14 year old dun quarter horse gelding, 15.4 hands, and he only weighs about 902 lbs. This is about 200 lbs underweight, how can I help him gain weight. Also, he dosn't have a worm because we just used a series of worm paste that a vet told us to use, and he had no worm. Also Why do you think he lost weight. He is an outdoor board horse, I come out 3-4 times a week, and don't over work him. He is half way up on the pecking order, and he gets plenty of grain. Why did he loose so much weight

I woke up this morning and I fliped the covers over to get up and ready for school, and I noticed on my Doberman, Hammer, a Large lump on his back. And it didnt bother him becuase he was still sleeping on my bed. But i touched it and could put my hand around it comfortably ( im 15, so my hand isnt that big, roughly the width side of the keyboard long) and put a little pressure on it, and it hurt him. He turned around and moved my hand with his nose. I called my mom and she came over and looked at it, and she didnt know what it was either. Well when i got hom from school I took a look at it and noticed it was a bit smaller and It looked like a long lump the size of a squished lemon, and on top, a smaller longish lump the size of a peanut. She told me she had iced it and it went down a little, but i dont know what it is? I think either a welt, bite, or My most WORST fear, a tumor. It wasent like that yesterday? I did make an appt tomorrow at 1, but im scared? what do u think it is?
