Cats are usually good, but they can be lazy. It depends on the personality of the cat and how much you play with it.
Gerbils are good because they are energetic and love to run around. They will sit on your shoulder sometimes and are very fun.
Hamsters are very lazy and not the best pet if you're looking for fun.
Most big dogs are fun to play with, they love to play frisbee and all sorts of different things.

ummm, probably a lizard because I have one and she's tough, and spikey. She's a bearded dragon. I was also going to say that lizards are kinda easy to take care of, and when they're babies they are more active. The older, the lazier, so I'm not sure if you want that.
Also, a kitty is nice too because they are playful. Specifically Hairless Cats, or Sphynxes. They are like dogs because they love to be around people and steal the hearts of everyone!

Personally I think that a dwarf rabbit is the best pet ever!!! I own a Netherland Dwarf Bunny and it is the best thing I ever bought. She's been with us for about 3 months now and she is just like a dog. She loves to eat and will eat about anything you give her. She follows you around and actually listens when you talk to her. She loves to cuddle and doesn't like to be alone. Maybe you should research bunnies for a bit and see how you like them...I am very satisfied with mine. She actually tells you when she has to go to her cage to use the bathroom. She jumps up on the couth and starts scratching you, thats when you know its time. She likes to hide under the couch but comes out after a while. She hasn't made a mess, she hasn't peed on my carpet, the only thing is you need to give them hard things to chew on like wood because they're teeth are constantly growing. well you mit like a small dog,cat,rabbit,maby even a small turtle,fish.
not all pets are great you should go to a pet shop and ask if you may pet the animal or ask about what the person that works you what is recconondations are

I'd say a cat. They are playful yet very easy to take care of. They don't require constant attention unlike a dog.

i have the perfect pet go buy a bengal kitten.they act like a dog with there scills of playing fetch and tug of war and they growl like a dog.they dont get too big about 15 pounds and they are real friendly too.i have one and i love him its like having my own cat dog lol

You must remember that some animals are harder to care for than others. Cats are great animals......they like to play (when they want to play only), you just have to feed them, clean their litter and occasional vet visits. They are loving, fun animals.
My cousin has a cat that plays fetch.....REALLY......with
aluminum balls. Its so FREAKIN cute.
