They love veggies. Carrots, celery, kale, parsley, cilantro, cucumber... Most veggies are okay, but avoid onion, potato and other things that have a strong taste, like garlic.
Guinea pigs should be fed fresh veggies every day. They also require vitamin C, which degrades quickly in pellet form, so be sure you feed them some high vitamin c foods daily, such as orange sections.

Food:
What should I feed my guinea pig? What treats can I give my guinea pig?
* Pellets: 1/4 cup American Pet Diner's Timmy GP pellets
I chose this brand because it doesn't contain animal products (animal fat, animal binder or fish meal) and it doesn't have seeds or other human eye candy (seeds, colored bits, Cap'n Crunch looking stuff). I think that I've used Kaytee Exact before, but I don't have the package right now to see if it meets my standards. I also recommend Oxbow's Cavy Cuisine - It meets my standards and is another timothy based pellet. Which means that the protein, fat and calcium contents are less and therefore better for the adult cavy.
* Vitamin C: 1/4 chewable Vit. C tablet (1 tablet is 250mg so 1/4 is about 60-70mg recommended gp dose is 25-40mg daily)
* Hay: free feed timothy hay from APD
* Water: Water should be available all the time (change daily or every other day)
* Veggies: veggie mix for dinner (2-4 of the following)
o carrot (1 - 1 1/2 baby carrot)
o parseley
o cilantro
o lettuce (romaine, red leaf, or green leaf)
o cucumber
o celery (cut into small pieces to make the "threads" short
* Treats: given only occasionally/once a week or less
o bannana (butt piece only),
o timbo cubes - APD
o alfalfa nibbles - Oxbow
o alfalfa chews (flavored like corn, berry or carrot) - Kaytee
o Vitakraft treats (very rarely)

Guinea pigs should have free access to timothy hay, all the time! Other grass hays are ok as well - oat, and brome. Just stay away from alfalfa hay - there is too much calcium in it. Pellets are an important part of the diet as well, but you actually need to feed fewer of those than you might think - for an adult pig, only about 2 TBSP of pellets a day, but all the hay they want!
Also, a handfull of fresh greens and veggies daily is very nutritious, and your piggie will love it! Favorites are parsley, kale, collard greens, dandelion greens, carrots, cucumber, green peppers, and most other veggies. Fruits should be fed in moderation - even less than pellets - because they have a lot of sugar.
An important thing to know is that guinea pigs, like humans, need an external source of vitamin C - their body cannot make it like most animals can. Guinea pigs actually get scurvy like people do if they do not get enough vitamin C. You can ensure your piggie gets enough vit C by providing small amts of citrus, parsley, or even vitamin C drops.
Appropriate pellets, hay, and vitamin C drops can be purchased from the Oxbow compay. They have a website. You can google Oxbow, and you should find it. In my experience, they make the best diets for small mammals.
