While a bobcat is not a particularly large cat, way smaller than a mountain lion... they are very powerful and pure muscle. I've seen one up close in the wild. A mature male weights somewhere around 25 pounds. It can easily kill a goat and eat a good portion of it at one sitting, I am sure of that. While it is small, it has large claws with razor sharp tips that could shred any piece of flesh it comes into contact with, plus they are very fast and agile. A goat is no match. Hope that helps.

A bobcat isn't as big as some think, it usually weighs about 14 - 24 lbs and is about 2 1/2 - 3 ft long and and about a ft tall. Yes, it can kill a goat very rarely but possibly it can take down a calf.

They're about the size of a medium/large dog with a "bob" tail. Not nearly as big as a cougar.
A bobcat could kill a goat.

They range in size up to the size of a pit bull, about 40 pounds. AND yes, they can kill a goat. But there are wild cougars and black feral cats (called panthers, but have not been categorized or proven to exist - although I've seen one) that can kill as well.

They're like 3 feet long, and although I think they could kill a very small goat, they mostly feed on rodents.

medium sized "big" cats. shoulder height generally is around 1.6 - 2 feet in height. length around 2.4 - 3.7 feet (body + tail). males can weigh 19.6 - 29.3 lbs and the smaller females can weigh 12.8 - 20 lbs. they eat rabbit, hare, small animals (rodents, bats, birds) and the males are quite capable of bringing down deer. they could kill goats, but their natural shyness (especially to humans) means captive livestock would be rarely chosen as prey (except if wild game is scarce & the cat is desperately hungry)
