I want a pet rat. My parents are saying I can't have one. If i have some information I am sure I can get them to say yes.

Firstly, how do you train them?

Second, are they OK in a hamster cage thing, or do they need a "rat" cage, and either way, how much do they cost and where from (UK only plz, no internet sites!)

Third, do they bite

Four, do they smell

Five, what do they eat?

Six, any more general information or decent sites

seven, final question, promise - are they OK on their own or do you need to have them as a pair, and how much do they cost to keep, and what bedding etc do you use.

thanks!-!-!

Is there a particular breed of rabbit that is more prone to screaming? I'm thinking about buying a pet rabbit and was wondering if there are certain breeds that tend to vocalize?

I bought a roborovski hamster (really small really fast!!) the other day, bought him all really nice stuff to try to make him happy, but now i keep reading on the net that they are social animals? The lady at the pet shop said it's fine as long as i give him enough attention, which of course I will, but still I guess I'm not quite the same as a dwarf hamster for him to play with? So what I'm asking is should I buy another roborovski for him? Can two males live togheter (DONT want babies!) and is it ok to introduce a new one - my one is only a couple of months old... any advice appreciated.

Is it a good pet to have? My friend wants a rabbit but he's not sure if it's a good pet and also the fact that they chew everything might be problem. Can you leave them in a cage during the day and then just play with them in the evening? They seem very relaxed in the petshop. Also, what is the best breed to get?

I really want to get a ferret but I saw some once at a show and they were extremely smelly. I have a chinchilla and he doesn't smell at all and don't want a smelly pet as my landlady will not be happy

What I really want to know is how are animals with pawed feet (dogs, wolves, rabbits and such) able to with stand the cold of the snow and ice on their paws? Cause I know that if there is snow on the ground when I go out i want my feet completely covered how do they do it? I give them credit.

I appreciate any horse I get, I only want one horse though but I
know I can't have her=(
but I was wondering if adopting a young horse would be a good idea for me!

I am very experienced in horses
(don't like to brag but) very good rider my trainer says
LOVE HORSES SO MUCH
and need one real bad
and many more reasons

I am still a younger kid growing up but I am almost a teen!
I am wondering if getting a baby horse that is a little calmer would be good idea so I can bond with it, but I am worried about just the training and my parents won't want to spend that much money.

Should I get an older experienced horse, harder to bond with kinda but already trained? I WANT TO ADOPT THOUGH!

I bonded with a baby stallion paint named music where I ride and a lot of people don't get along w/ him that good, he kicked his owners, but he seems to like me! Although I do feed him carrots a lot=) LoL

but I am kinda stuck and confused on which is better

PLZ HELP.....thanks

♥Mickey♥

I just got a 3 month old ferret- the youngest I have ever owned (the rest were older rescues) and he has been doing the pyscho ferret routine for about 1 hour now with no sign of stopping.....how long do young ferrets go before they tire out? The longest I have seen out of the adults was 45 minutes.
Thanks in advance for serious answers (forever does not count as one!)

My hamster just died about 20 minutes ago. The ground is frozen outside under about 2 feet of snow, what can I do with her instead of just throwing her away? I want to bury her but I can't with the weather being the way it is...
