Has anyone any experience of the animal health insurance company named Petplan, based in Victoria, Australia, please? Grateful if you'd let me know good or bad,

I have heard of them, but boy are they expensive! Personally, I put funds aside each month in a separate savings account. Got the cash if I need it that way and earn interest for myself on it! Not handing it to other people who won't necessarily cough up when you need it. Have heard of people having lots of trouble getting payout from any animal insurance fund!
And in an emergency, the vet will help regardless! You can always pay them off.
Just make sure you get a animal from a good breeder who offers a refund if the animal fails a vet check. Only way to go!

I have not had Pet Plan in Austrailia, but I was with them in England for 3 years. I paid out alot of money, and when I needed treatment for my dog, they would not pay up. They will do all they can, and find any excuse to get out of paying you. This has been my experience with alot of people in England. Don't think that it is the country concerned, it is a BAD company, steer clear of them.

do you realize the cost of bringing pets and the quarantine? it can cost thousands per pet some animals can NOT be brought in to Australia

Ive never heard of it I live in Melbourne and I cant find it in the Yellow pages I would be careful if its not openly advertised it could be a bit chancy.

bad my dog died a the vet and had to have some shot and medicane and they wouldnt pay and thats why i got the insurance i cause i didnt want to pay for all that crap ya know
