My dog a border collie and Staffordshire bull terrier cross does not know the dangers of a road and she will stop when you call her but she will not move (she does this when off the lead and near a quiet road) and when you tell her to stay on the pavement she runs into the road. This worries me that she will get run over one day and also she just does not understand a lot of commands only sit and come here I have tried for up to 2 hours a day teaching her with hardly any progress. She also pulls very hard on the lead no matter how much you tell her off she will not slow down she also hates a bath and is scared of raised voices ever since she was a puppy and it did not help when she was attacked by another dog at 6 months old. I can fill out up to 2 pages of A4 paper writing thing about her that I cant sort out myself anyway other than all this she has the most sweet, loving nature that anyone could wish for in a dog.
I would be SO grateful to have someone professional that can show me how to train her before she get any older she is now 13 months and 1 day old.

I'd love to know how to make the cats stop raiding the fridge, knocking over the bins & opening the cupboards!

However, I've had catches fitted on the cupboards, don't put anything too tasty smelling in the inside bin and, although they did tear the child lock off the fridge last week & ripped the seal, I've moved the fridge & touchwood have had no raids for five days in a row now. (Yay!) So maybe my problem is solved.

Hopefully, you'll find some 'stars' from some of the questions that are posted ... maybe they haven't read your post ... good luck. Looking forward to seeing the program ... what channel is it likely to be on?

Basic Training of the Puppy - Read here https://tr.im/crAOY

The new puppy is certainly one of the most adorable and cuddly creatures that has ever been created. It is the most natural thing in the world to shower it with love and affection. However, at the same time it is important to realize that if you want to have a well trained adult dog, you need to begin the training process right away. The dog, like its related ancestor, the wolf, is a pack animal. One of the features of a pack is that it has a single dominant leader. Your new puppy is going to want that leader to be you, but if you do not assume that role from the very beginning, the puppy’s instincts will push him to become the leader.

The most important thing to remember about training the puppy during its first six months of life is that it must see you as the leader of the family pack. The essential thing is gaining the trust and the respect of the puppy from the beginning. You will not do this by allowing the puppy to do whatever it wants to do whenever it wants to do it. On the other hand, a certain amount of patience is required. Most people err in their early training by going to extremes one way or the other. Although you need to begin the basic training process at once, you can not expect your dog to do too much at first. Basic obedience training is fine and should include simple commands like sit, stay, and come. Remember that trying to teach the dog advanced obedience techniques when it is a puppy is much like trying to teach a five year old child algebra.

It is also important to restrain from cruel or abusive treatment of the puppy. You can not beat obedience into your dog, and it certainly is not going to engender feeling of respect and trust. House breaking is an area where this usually becomes a problem because of the anger that is triggered when the puppy fails and creates a mess inside the home. Although this issue must be addressed without anger, it most be addressed. If you allow the puppy to eliminate inside the house, it will continue to do so as an adult dog. The same thing is true of other destructive or dangerous behavior such as chewing and biting. Do not expect the puppy to grow out of it. You are going to need to train the puppy out of it, but you should do so firmly but with a sense of play and fun using positive reinforcement and lots of love and praise for good behavior.

One of my lovely cats Jesse - has throwing up issues - I used to get angry because I thought he was just been greedy - but it seems no matter how little or how much he eats he is sick almost always afterwards - it doesn't seem to bother him - he is never upset by it and always eats and drinks like normal after!

I have tried dry food and wet food, water, you name it - nothing seems to make a difference!! he just throws up!!

You can help my boy if you like!!

my hamster..basil..is sooooo cute n lovely towards every1....except me. he will quiet literally launch himself at the cage to me, screaming his head off, i change his bedding, feed him, do his water n everything, but he hates me!! someones said its cuz i'm pregnant n he dnt like the hormones im giving off, but i duno, he likes my other friend who's less pregnant than me...
oh, and i have a rabbit who HATES being picked up, but clearly needs to so we can check her claws n stuff (although me mums trained her 2 show us her claws, very cute). we found her in the street n i was wondering is it maybe a bad experience she had when she was a baby? its just getting so annoying to catch her for the vets as her run is perminantly attatched to her hutch (runs abt 6ft by 10ft) so shes running circles round us. but everytime the vets pick her up shes fine!! just wees on them..lol. any ideas on how 2 help either of my lovely pets?

i assume u need email addresses?
evilbunnyhahaha@yahoo.com
and no my rabbit is not evil (hence the email address) i got a t-shirt wiv a rabbit on it who had red eyes n looked rather evil! lol

one last thing, any ideas on how i can get my dog 2 poo in the kitchen if she has to go in the middle of the night instead of right outside my bedroom door!! or right nxt to the loo...i guess she's got the right idea 4 wot a loos 4 tho! and she has these lumps on her belly, the vet says they're fatty lumps n when she looses weight they'll go (she raids the bin at night...n me father in law feeds her table scraps...plus she just sits there looking pleadingly at guests to feed her) but she's lost weight n they're STILL there. they refuse to do any cancer checks on her or anything. she's nine (today, aw bless) n i really dnt wana lose her! shes me best friend! when he owner left me she came upstairs n slept wiv me until i was ok 2 sleep on me own without crying 1st!
oh...and any ideas on how 2 train the father in law not 2 heat up her dog food before giving it 2 her? she only leaves it til its cold anyway!!
