Sometimes? I always do, all of my friends with pets talk to their pets too.

I talk to my pets all the time. Now I am not crazy, I would like to think that I am a level headed person, but when I am home alone and the cats are hanging out with me I talk to them hehehe...One of my kitty's is half Siamese so she loves to chat it up. I know that they have no idea what I am saying and could probably care less about how my day is going but I like to think that the attention is good for them. I also have Turtle doves and I love to mimic the sound that they make when they are calling their mates. It kinda confuses them, it is on the funny side.

I am convinced that my pets know english! Well, my cat pretends like she doesnt sometimes...but i know she is just being a cat..and my dog definately loves to be the middle of all conversations. even when i am on the phone..he is right there looking and listening just as if i was talking to him.

I talk to my pets constantly. I think that pets can understand what you're saying and they know when you feel bad and they love you more than any human possibly could. Another thing you might find amusing: my roommate is teaching my cat French. :)

of coarse! how would they know that i am alfa. how would they know that they are considered part of the family and are very loved.how would they obey commands. my house rabbit is always there to cuddle if i'm sad, he knows all my secrets. my dog is a smart mouth sometimes, it's really funny.

I talk to my cats and my parakeets all the time. I swear, they understand what I am saying. They are very smart. I say "I will give you some food" and they all act excited.
