What do you want a pet mouse for?? Feed or an actual pet? If you're looking for a pet, get a pair of rats from a breeder. They'll cost about $10-$20 each and well worth it. Mice in a pet store are like $2.00 each.

Under $5. It's my understanding that there is actually no real difference between "fancy" mice and "feeder" mice. Both make good pets. Here's some information on how to properly care for them:

white lab mice(feeder mice) are usaly $1.99 they make great pets but die early.

At my work we sell them for $3.49 and $1.99 if your buying them for feeders. So when you go into a petshop to buy one - say that you want to buy a feeder mouse.....they'll sell it to you cheaper or even 1/2 price.

around 3-5 bucks. they will make sure you have food, cage, etc. before they sell to you. they're free if you go to your local grass field though.
