My sister and I really want to get a hamster since my last one died. This time (so that they will have company) we were going to get two. Is it okay to have the same age hamster (girls) in a cage together?

We have had a our sweet chinchilla for about 3 weeks. I think she is improving in trusting us, and certainly has a ball running around and bouncing off of the walls (literally) :) However, since she is nocturnal she stays up all night so there is only about 3 hours at night and 1 hour in the morning when she is awake while we are. She loves tv so we leave it on for her at night...and she just sits there mesmerized by it. When I come in the room in the morning she is still watching it....is she bored? is this healthy? I feel so guilty going to bed lol.

Hi.
I was wondering how often you have to deworm your horse? Is it possible to get a deworming home-kit in Vancouver,BC,Canada?

Also, how about the shots? How often? What type? Could i do them at home? How much if i do them a home? How much if i get the vet to give the shot to the horse?

Trimming- what style is best for jumping/plesure (english) and bare-back riding?

Grain- how much for a horse that works 6 days a week and is 16.3hh? What kind?

The horse that i am getting is in Kamloops, BC, Canada and i am in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Do i have to ride the horse before i buy him?

Any thing else that i need to give my horse?

** i have heard so many different stories on this, so i am just not so sure any more

I got my hamster Tomo from some people on Craigslist. I've had him for almost 6 months now. The past 2 weeks I've noticed negative changes. First off, I know he slept a lot, he loves sleeping, but that was all he did. He never ran on his wheel anymore, still doesn't. His hair doesn't look nice and silky. His eyes crust over, I feel so terrible that I wet them gently for him to be able to open up his eyes.
The most important things I noticed was that he can't walk straight anymore. He can walk, but it's so wobbly and he tips over or falls down. He can't even sit and brush his head with his paws without leaning to one side. My friend looked at him today and noticed a bump-like thing on one side of his face. She said it may be a tumor. I really hate to see him in this state. It's so pitiful. Is he really a goner? And if so, is it fair to watch him die, even if he's suffering, or would it be best to commit a mercy kill? Please help.

My poor little gerbil, Persephone, has a bald patch on the top of her head.. I'm pretty sure this is from it rubbing when she chews on the cage bars. She is housed in a 20gallon aquarium, but I have a panel of cage hanging from the back wall so that I could mount a wheel and water bottle for her. How do you attach these things with just aquarium glass? I tried to hang it from the roof but couldn't figure out how to do it properly.
I would like to get rid of the cage panel entirely because I am worried that if her nose keeps rubbing on the bars, it will irritate her skin, since some of the fur is gone now (will it grow back?) :(
She has a mineral chew thing, and a wood house, but she seems to prefer climbing the cage panel and chewing on it.

Any help is appreciated, Thanks!
