I just found out that I can get a horse, and would prefer a Tennesee Walker or Quarter horse. I can't find anything suitible for my lifestyle. I need a nice family horse that I can ride, and one that is very affordible.

I have two bunnies. Chip I think is the boy, For some reason yesterday I saw a small lump on the side of him/her, 3 lumps. not in the tummy. Anyways that's besides the point.. I'm not sure how to tell how to sex them for sure. Taffy is the other (Dwarf, They are both dwarf bunnies) Bunny. but those lumps on chips sides worry me.. Are they babbies??

I know not to bathe it often, this will just dry out thier skin and make them stink worse.
But on the occasion that you do bathe your little fuzzy, How do you go about doing it? how much water, what kind of shampoo? How do you bathe them without scaring them? Every pet I've had had been scared to death of water, and baths eventhough I tried to make the process as stress free as possible.

my rat male if I pick him up and not the female she smells my scent on him and starts to fight him but if I give them a bath they shes fine but why does she fight him and why is it only when I just pick him up?

My boyfriends dog gets fed EXTREMELY spicy foods. Someone in the house eats everything really really spicy, and always feeds it to the dog. This just doesn't seem right to me as these foods are well beyond anything i can take. Anybody know if this is okay?

I used to have a young bearded dragon that I got in the spring. He grew and was very healthy until winter came around. He stopped eating and he began to turn pale. He didn't move at all, and he finally died. My friend said he was too cold. How do I get his cage warmer? I all ready had heating pads on the sides and three heat lamps. Do I hang lights from the ceiling or something? I really want another one. I love reptiles and i had a lot in the past, but I just don't know what to do.

We have 2 rats that we bought tuesday. We left them for 2 days (As advised by the pet shop), My boyfriend has been introducing himself to the rats over the past few days, allowing them to sniff his hand. He has been trying to handle them but hasnt even managed to get them onto his hand yet as they bite him everytime his hand is in the cage and have drawn blood once.

her name is bettie. lol. well all she does is just lay around, closed up in her shell. when i first got her from the mall, she was climbing all over the rocks and stuff in her tank but now she dosent. at an imports store from the mall, we got her and another crab but after a few months he died and she didnt. then, we got another one from petsmart and that one died too but she didnt. do you think that she was traumatized by the deaths?? or is just something wrong with her?? how can i make her more active?? plz help me!!

One of my mice is white with broken black stripes and a solid black bottom. I also believe he is long haired:

Is this a what they call a brindle mouse?

I'm interested in breeding mice in the future, and I was wondering if anyone would know how this affects their genetics and that of their offspring (which of their traits are dominant/recessive).

our neighbour found a ferret wandering around our street today and we took it in cause you cant just leave it loose, it was starving and thirsty and has been snoozing in a cat carrier in our kitchen for the last couple of hours. it's clearly been neglected and smells like a public toilet. my bf is desperate to keep it and has called it george but i dont want any more pets as we already have 2 dogs, 4 cats and two fish tanks. we're disagreeing quite strongly over it and he refuses to take it to rspca. any suggestions? what are ferrets like anyway? how do they get on with cats and dogs?
