SO FAR THE ANSWERS THAT UR GETTING SEEM PRETTY SUCKY. I HAVE THREE QUARTER HORSES... BUT SORRY! NONE OF MINE ARE FOR SALE. BUT I DO KNOW WHERE YOU COULD GET ONE.

GO ON THE INTERNET ON YAHOO!, ASK, OR GOOGLE.COM
TYPE IN "QUARTER HORSES FOR SALE IN ....." WHEREVER YOU LIVE. OR YOU COULD JUST LOOK IN THE YELLOW PAGES OR FIND BARNS AND GO UP THERE AND TALK TO OWNERS PERSONALLY.

IF YOU LOOK ON THE INTERNET AND FIND ONE YOU LIKE, DON'T BUY IT RIGHT AWAY! ALWAYS GO AND SEE THE HORSE IN PERSON. RIDE IT AND TEST ITS TEMPERAMENT. SEE IF YOU CAN BATH AND GROOM THE HORSE TOO, SO THAT YOU CAN SEE WHAT ITS LIKE DURING THOSE PROCESSES. ALSO, IF YOU CAN TAKE A LITTLE KID, LIKE YOUR COUSIN OR SOMETHING, AND SEE HOW THE HORSE REACTS WITH THE KID. DON'T EVER EVER EVER BUY A HORSE ON THE INTERNET WITHOUT CHECKING IT OUT PERSONALLY. (IF YOU ALREADY KNEW THIS... SORRY! I JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU KNOW WHAT UR DOING!) GOOD LUCK!

I don't know what you mean by cheap- cause having a horse isn't cheap at all. I have a 4 year old AQHA sorrel with blaze, two socks on the back and one sock on the right forelimb. She's 15hh and has a nice cow look to her with a huge hip. She has a low head set and awesome bloodlines. She's forsale. Her registered name is SMOKEYS LIL WIMP and if you want to see her pedigree you can look her up on allbreedpedigree.com. I have her priced at $3,000. And that's pretty cheap for her- you'll know what I mean when you see her bloodlines. Just shoot an email if you want to know more about her.

search for horse rescues near you, also try petfinder.com

If you are looking for a cheap horse however because you don't have alot of money then you should not be getting a horse (i would love a horse, but can't afford the care)
The purchase price of a horse is often the least expensive part.
You have to pay for boarding if you aren't keeping it at your place, vet, farrier, tack, food, bedding ect...

Yeah, mines cheap. He never picks up the check when we go out to eat, and he's been wearing the same horseshoes for a year.
