Dogs. A cat wont protect you, and a dog wont eat you iof you die. Dogs are friends, cats just pee and you cant ever get the smell out.

Well, cats and dogs are really very different but both require a fair amount of work and time. A dog however needs more attention then a cat and cannot be left alone for long periods of time, where a cat can (although its not a great situation). Dogs really require more attention (walks, obedience and, if you get a young one, potty training) whereas cats just really need food, love, and a litter box. However, it may be argued that dogs give more back then cats; they seem to actually like you where cats seem like they could care less. Then again cats have a awesome attitude of Independence and sometimes dogs can be a little clingy. Both need vet care, which is expensive. I guess whether you like dogs or cats better really depends on your personality and lifestyle.

Cats- I sort of like dogs but in my opinion cats are just better. they are more independant and they dont need TONS of attention like some dogs do. I heard someone bashing cats earlier saying that you dont ever see seeing-eye cats well i have something to say to you: Look around, how many people have you seen that have been attacked and killed by a cat?? None, unlike all these people getting killed by dogs. im not saying all dogs are bad and im not saying all cats are good, but, i just like cats ALOT more. But, everyone has their own opinion.

It depends on your lifestyle. Cats are more independent whereas dogs require much more attention and exercise. Do you have a yard for a dog to play? Do you have time to take it for walks? Will it bother you to hear a lot of barking? Do you or anyone you spend a lot of time with have an allergy to cats? Would you be willing to clean out a litter box (at least) every other day?

dogs are much petter then cats shure they reqire more work and time but they make up for it in love and personality.
dogs are very intelligent smarter then cats they are the 10th smartest animal in the world (im serious its been proven) they love you always and can be trained
alot of cats i know are either hyper and wild they will scratch you to death
or are lazy and mean and will just sit there like blobs
and on rare ocasion they are cuddly
cats can be left alone for long periods of time they can pritty much be without you
dogs need you they love you as a person not as a food source like cats
dogs help society i have never ever ever seen a cat as a seeing eye cat or a fire cat they are pritty much usless except when they feel like giving you love
i like cats
i just dont think there half as good of pets as dogs

Dogs because they love unconditonally and are always there for you. Cats just put you on hold unless they want something.
