You did not mention dog or cat or >?
IT is recommended you wait till the second heat or till 2 yrs old .
IT is recommended you know what you are doing as its not just putting a male with a female to produce puppies..
You should be only breeding your dog if she is a excellent representation of the breed, you have consulted with the original breeder to make sure no genetic problems have come up with in this genetic line.
THATS FOR STARTERS do you have homes lined up?
Are you aware of the costs involved , wormings , vaccination or even the risks involved ? You could loose you beloved pet in the birth process.
It may be a good idea to rethink this and leave it to the professionals

You need to specify what type of female. If it is a dog, they need to be at least 8 months to 1 year old. If it is another type of animal, there are different ages for mating.

most breeds of hamsters can get pregnant by 8 weeks of age. Some breeds even earlier! I would wait longer though, as that is still pretty young.
