There is nothing wrong with a cat missing an eye, it's just alittle different. Maybe go out when it isn't there? The poor cat is just being friendly to you.

If you are allergic to the cat I can understand your not wanting it to touch you.
Hiss at the cat; hiss from the back of your throat for best results. This is cat language for "go away."
Frankly the quickest way to make it stop is to keep a squirt bottle and squirt it when it gets to close. This is just a little squirt, and it won't hurt the cat, but the cat won't like it.
You probably already found out that pushing the cat away does not work, because the cat thinks you are playing.
And if you feed it, it will naturally like you and want to be friendly. As long as the cat has its own family feeding it, it doesn't need food from you.

What does having no eye have to do with anything? My aunt had a cat that was hit by a truck, wound up loosing one of its eyes, it looked like it was winking at you all the time. We used to call it a pirate kitty. If you don't like cats well then, you're just kinda screwed because cats are perverse creatures, and they KNOW you don't like them, and the more you don't like them the more they'll try to get near you. ;) You could just ask your neighbor to keep your cat in their own yard, depending on where you live cats aren't allowed to run loose due to their chances of getting killed by cars, catching diseases, and their mauling songbirds and other wild animals.

Try getting a toy and rubbing catnip on it. When "Iris" comes near you, throw the toy and she'll go running towards the toy and not you. Remember to retrieve the toy.

Well, I have a cat won't leave me alone either when I want it to. What I do is tap it gently on the nose and then it leaves me alone.
