This horse that I am looking at trading, has always been a trail horse in Indiana. This horse is an Appoloosa(maybe mixed). This horse has not been trained to go backwards. The owner said that when you put this horse in the stall the leg (thiegh) swells up, and he said when you let him out of the stall the swelling gose down. This horse is the age of 13. No papers. My question is what is this swelling? Would it affect my ridding? What is going on with this horse? I really would like if you did not put have a vet cheak it. I would use this horse for mainly contesting. I would not like to invest alot of money into this horse. What should I do?What is the swelling?

I live out in the Country and there is a horse trail riding business right a cross from me,so I can see everything.
I have just noticed that one of the mares ( who is fully pregnant) is being used as riding horse.
I think that you would have to be a total SAVAGE to ride the poor thing!
......A safe guess is that this savage who is sitting on her is at least over 150 lbs or 69kg or 10.7stone .....Very disturbing.
Does anyone know if this is common, normal stuff and not unusual?
And if this is totally unacceptable should i call the cops ???????.

I am fortunate that I live in a state where it is a felony to abuse poor innocent animals.

I don't want to make enemies with the neighbours...what should I do?

Animals are here to serve our nutritional needs, our needs for service, and need for entertainment. Please read Genesis 1:28. God gave man dominion over animals. He put them here for us.

If I want to use an animal for entertainment be it bull fighting, dog fighting, breeding odd mixes, or eat them... that is my GOD given right, and PETA nor anyone else can take that away from me.

it is around 18 months old and looks like a fench lop eared rabbit. The previous owner gave him to her because she didnt want him anymore. Anyway she went to pick him up he kicked and it looks like his mail got caught on her jumper and has pulled it out as we found the nail and it was bleeding. Any advice as to what we should do.

Today our hamster is one year old. It's very lucky as it's it's had lots of presents(treats and peanuts) and my daughter( age 8) who is it's proud owner has made it a little cake from seeds with a candle on top
However I feel it is a day slightly tinged with sadness as I know they don't live for long.
Do you think she will ever need another cake?
