My hamster also loved just about any vegetable or fruit you would put in front of his face. Also try peanuts, my hamster loved them too.

All my hamsters loved cucumber also grapes.

One would eat anything except my mothers home made meatloaf
can't say I blame it though.

Hamsters do like to eat small amounts of meat,( in the wild they eat insects and grubs) This particular hamster liked to have a tiny piece off the Sunday roast.

Hiya, Yes mine like cucumber, they eat cooked pasta, egg, all different types of vegetables. Have you tried the chocolate drops with hundreds and thousands on them from the pet shop mine love the white chocolate ones the best.

My old hamster used to love them and when i used a moisteriser with cucumber in it he would smell it and start jumping about in his cage because he thought he was getting some.

It is perfectly normal for a hamster to sleep under the bedding. I have had two hamsters too who used to do exactly that. In fact every time I clean the cage and put in new bedding, one hammie used to spend the whole day collecting the bedding and heaping it in one corner to sleep. If you want to, you can try to entice him into his sleeping corner by putting some of the bedding that he has used into this sleeping corner so that he gets attracted by the smell but it is not a foolproof method. In fact my other hammie used her beautiful house in her cage to poop and the bedding to sleep under! As long as he is active and has no other visible sickness, you do not need to worry about that.

Cucumers are fine! I used to keep rabbits and you could feed them almost anything bananas, strawberries, to nuts. I'm sure if you google "fruits hamsters can eat" you'll find a website somewhere!

Just don't fed them iceburg lettuce! It gives a lot of furry critters the runs!

Mine loves them.

Carrots and apples aren't particularly good for them ona regulat basis as they are high in sugar.

Green leafy veggies, celery and cucumber are way better for them
