if your horse has had an overdose i would speak to your vet immediately. there is usually a fairly large amount of leeway with horses & overdoses due to the bodyweight of the horse, but it is vital than you discuss the exact amount of drug administered with someone that knows what they are doing.

depends on how much buscopan was used, take it the horse was colicing, you can overdose by quite a bit before serious side effects are seen but best to consult a vet.

Buscopan is a trade name for hyoscine butylbromide.

This is the warning re overdose in humans, which is probably the same or similar in most mammals, I've listed the symptoms per line (rather than as part of the paragraph as the source lists it) so that its easier to pick out the ones that you might recognise in a horse:

http://www.medicinenet.com/hyoscine_butylbromide-oral/page2.htm

"...OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US national poison hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canadian residents should call their local poison control center directly. Symptoms of overdose may include

unusually dry mouth;
excessive thirst;
nausea;
vomiting;
difficulty breathing;
blurred vision;
dilated pupils;
flushed, hot, dry skin;
muscle weakness;
unusual dizziness or drowsiness;
restlessness;
disorientation;
and seizures..."

Depend on the how much of a overdose....it can range from diarrhea, dehydration, allergic reaction, fever, and even death.

If you gave over 10cc of the proper level I'd contact your vet and make sure that your horse has plenty of water available to him and keep him off his feed and hay until your vet comes for a consult.
