I raise freshwater fry and fish and I wanted to feed them live brine shrimp to the adult and fry. Is there a hatchery where you can grow brine shrimp to feed both the adult and fry. You see I think I found one but I am not sure if you can feed the adult and also the fry.
Visit this website http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/group/14473/product.web

If it does not work for both adult and fry do you know another one that feeds both fry and adult. Thanks!

I have one goldfish which is about 4inches and a 16litre tank, and I don't know whether to get another goldfish to keep it company. I have a filter and air pump in the tank so their should be enough oxygen for another fish. Would it be best to keep the goldfish alone? p.s I can't get a bigger tank and am keeping water quality at the highest.

I have two males and one female betta. (the two males seperate of course)
There is one male who puffs up a little and chases her and does a dnace in front of her but she always swims away.
Is that normal? This is the first time together too.
The other male will do nothing, sometimes she'll chase him and he'll run off or swim off.
Is this normal in the start?

I bought a gravel syphon today and I'm a bit stuck! It's working fine, but I only have a 35 litre tank and it seems to suck out an awful lot of the water. If I wanted to clean all the gravel in the tank, then it would suck out far more water than 20%. Therefore, I stopped before most of the gravel had been cleaned as obviously I wanted to keep 80% of the water in the tank. Is this OK just to clean a part of the gravel each week? Shouldn't all the gravel be cleaned in one go or am I doing something wrong?! Thank you!

I have been using this site for like three days and already i am fed up with how many useless responses and answers that are clearly contraindictated by the qestion itself. For example i ask how to help cycle my tank, and inform readers that the fish is already in it and has been without problems for two days now. What answer do i get? You should get feeder fish to put in the tank...if they do fine you know its ok to put your fish in. Well obviously if this person had been paying a sliver of attention that is of no help. Great idea for someone whose fish ISNT in the tank. Duh. I say that i have a budget of five dollars for a new fish item, i recieve a recommendation for purchasing a 15.00 kit. I dont know why these ppl bother writing such a lengthy response without taking the time to absorb the question but it is a waste of space time and reading. I suppose this is just a request for all of those out there who are at fault...please dont respond unless you are prepared to give

well, what does it cure? I think I've heard of it curing gull bladder issues, but I have no clue. Also, how does it work? Do you have to break it up into smaller peices so that the fish can eat it easier?

My fish don't have any health issues, but I was wondering.

I have a ten gallon for my ruykin, we have the aquarium, filter, water conditioner, plants, gravel, food, and a net. The question is this, i can afford either an aerator (which the filter seems to do), an ammonia test kit, a nitrite test kit, or bacteria to jumpstart the cycle of the tank. Bear in mind the fish has been in the tank for two days now...he is doing great by the way. I think an ammonia test kit would be the most beneficial but what are your opinions. (five or so dollar budget) feel free to suggest a different product.

Oh and a thermometer is on the tank as well.

Hi I've bought a 5 foot Fish tank with 6 large Goldfish in it off eBay about 2 weeks, ive only ever had one tiny goldfish before who ive successfully put into the tank, but with him ive never treated the water, he was just in an old fashioned bowl (which im told now is a big fishkeeping faux pas!!)

Obviously as its been two weeks its time for a partial water exchange but ive been told to treat my tap water and test it, im pretty dumb and have no idea what to use or what im testing for can anyone tell me more, and where i can buy some treatments (preferably lower end of the budget though i have a teensy budget)
