i am about to get a fish tank and i was woundering what should i do to keep the tank clean not cloudy and smelly?

I was recently out near one of my backyard ponds and noticed wrapped around a large branch underwater, there was a clump of black specs. I have about 10 goldfish in there and I know that their eggs tend to be opaque or pearl looking? What are these black things that look like eggs?

i have malwi cichlids and keep my ph around 8-8.4 and all other levels of waste are fine except nitrates. is there something i can put in my filter. i dont like using chemicals too much to alter the water.

I have two tanks of 4ft each. One of them I have 8 full grown angels, with two full grown plecos and 2 full grown bronze catfish. The other one I have 18 full grown silver mollies all my breeds. With the mollies I have one full grown pleco and 2 bronze catfish, still to grow. I have a male beta fish and I wish to put him in one of these tanks so that he will have more space to swim in. Which tanks from the above is the most suitable one for him? Or shall I buy another large tank just for him.

The goldfish is swimming fine , fins good, gills good, he has one eye that has started to protrude from his head. and these 2 lumps under his skin above his head. they are not symmetrically placed so i'm sure they shouldn't be there. what is it and how can i cure him?

I have a fresh water aquaium, and i have a HUGE snail problem. I accidently bought some live plants that had snail eggs on them and did not know it. I have tryed everything to get rid of them, including, soaking everything in bleach water, to NO AVAIL. I have even tryed some stuff called Had-a-snail. All it does is bring the live ones to the surface, BUT DOES NOT KILL the EGGS.
HELP. This has been going on now for at least 8 mo. I'm afraid that if i can't find a solution to this problem that i will have to shut my tank down for good.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, HELP ME

Can a single female guppy live on its own? Right now she is in with three gold fish and two white cloud minnowsand is doing really great. I know what people are going to say is gold fish and guppies dont belong together. Would she better off with another female guppy.

I think I went to far. I was so excited with my new tank that I kept getting fish. I have stopped but I don't know if I have to many fish. I have 4 zebra danios, two mollys, two platys, two dwarf groumis, two corycats (bottom feeders) and 1 female betta. Most of them are juveniles.
