Experienced breeders all know that Most Cichlids do get angry. This is proven by diseases like Ick. Common Ick is caused by the fish staying unnerved for a period of time. Species like the Convict Cichlid or Angel fish and not excluding the Jack Dempsy will stay upset for some period of time, especially while defending eggs. Defending young keeps them up in fins aswell. One pink convict actualy flipped out of the tank on attack and did the tuna two-step on the carpet.

Of course not! Fish never stay angry for long due to their 3 second memory. If only the rest of the world were like our fishy friends...

Taking your question seriously, I'd say yes. It depends of course on what kind of fish it is and what they are angry about. Schooling fish like tetras get angry about their place in the hierarchy or the school. Puddle fish like bettas and gouramis and Killie fish are all about scarce feeding and breeding areas. And fish like cichlids don't like to be pushed out of their nook or cranny.
