Out of those two I would probably put him with the mollies. With angels he may end up being a target, especially if the angels decide to breed.
Personally I would put the betta in a 10g tank with some 5 corydora cats. 10g is big enough for swimming room I believe anyway.
The only problem I could see putting it with mollies is that it may eat the fry or try to attack the mollies. In a large tank such as yours though the chances are less likely

Definately put him in with the mollies. Some people have had success with keeping a beta with angels, but most people don't, and your chances are even less with the angels being full grown. Betas even like some salt in their water like mollies do so they are really very compatible. But, your beta will eat the molly fry, although with 18 full grown mollies, he'll have his fill long before all of the fry have been eaten, and you should still have plenty of fry left alive. Two things to watch for when you put the beta in the aquarium. One, keep an eye on the full grown pleco, it is a potential problem for any new tankmate. And make sure that there is an area of the aquarium far enough from the filter output to have relatively still water because betas struggle in fast moving water.

I would go with the mollies.. Angels are aggressive when they are full grown.
I have swordtails... witch are pretty much like mollies.. and My betta did well with them.. the betta did not bother the swordtails (he's only aggressive toward his own species) and the swordtails did not bother the betta.. he just sat around in the leaves minding his own business..
The only problem that I had is that my betta got stuck all the time in the filter... the filter was strong and I saw him there like 4 times, I disconected the filter.. but soon I got tired of watching over him and just took him out of the tank and put Him in his own small one....
So, I would say put him with the mollies and watch him for a few days..

I have a full grown (red) betta male with three full grown angels (2 double half black and one altum) and two pepper corys in a 4 ft tank. No problems at all. I'd keep him with the angels to add a little colour to the tank scenery.

I have had a beta in a tank with mollies, as well as with angels. Mine seemed to do better with the mollies because the mollies were less aggressive. Betas are very agressive fish; therefore, putting them with less agressive fish will work much better.

Beta fish does not fit with the other fish . if you only have one it stay in a bowl by there self .. unless you want to get a bigger tank the biggest one is a 5 gallon or maybe 10 . if the beta is a male u should add 2 felmale with this fish not a another male they will fight eachother intill one dieds.. so always ask what they sex is of the beta fish..

Beta fish just cannot be around other beta fish. Other fish are fine. Just make sure the tank is chlorine free. They cannot live in chlorine. But of course, you know that because of all your other fish. But if you do get another tank for him, don't put him where he can see the other fish. He'll get lonely and he won't eat. ALso don't put him in with babies. He'll eat them.

Bettas are found in the wild in rice paddies - puddles. They are not a deep water fish. A bowl is suitable for them, as long as the water is kept clean.
Generally, the fish you have mentioned are not particularly aggressive. Your betta would do well with any of them - as long as all the fish are well fed..
