Seems there is always enough "money" when it comes to people stuff.
If you are short, charge it, borrow or remortgage your house.
"No money" doesn't cut it when it comes to YOUR dog!

We will be moving to germany and getting a dog there. We want a dog thats going to be smart(with training from us) and good for a future family. I want a big dog, like a sharpei (not sure on spelling), but I think he enjoys smaller dogs with more energy. Whats some good options for us?

Hi, am the proud owner of a dalmatian and also 34 weeks pregnant. The thing is, I can't walk her as long as I have ben able to in the past. I get really breathless (which is confusing to me as I am a very active person). I feel that she is maybe slightly depressed due to this but I am showering her with loads of attention and love- nothing from the norm really to be honest. I let her out in the morning and take her for a walk to make sure she has a bowel movement, and usually at least once a day I get her into the field too. She is 9 yrs old and I hate that I could be confusing her. Are there any other ways I can keep her active? Any games so that she doesnt get bored and still enjoys life? Thanks in advance..... A very loving but tired, mum to be.x

I more mean his coat. It is not as fluffy as other pomeranians his age. I don't have him yet, since he is still with the breeder, but I have been comparing him to other ones the same age and pet quality like himself. He is 6+ weeks old in the pictures, and his coat is not nearly as poofy as other pommies at 6 weeks... Will his coat grow or will he end up being one of those poms with a short coat? His parents have nice coats but they looked way more thick as puppies.

Here is one of him at 6 weeks old:

Here are two of him at 6 weeks old and 5 days:

Thank you all for the help and opinions.
I will love him all the same, just curious.

she's 9 months old and we just decided she should sleep outside. we have two neighbor's that will call the cops if she barks too loud and won't stop barking. we don't want to pay a fine. she can bark very loudly and she won't stop until she gets so tired that she'll fall to sleep or until we bring her inside the house.
Please help.
Thanks.

UGH! Alright, I have a lab puppy that's almost 5 months old. She's driving us crazy! We understood what we were getting ourselves into when we decided to get a puppy but this is crazy. I read all the books and advice and watching all the shows about dogs and how to raise a puppy right - and I've done exactly what they've said. She still won't respect/listen to me! Last night, I caught her curled up on the nice couch that she's not allowd to be on (she knows this, she has her own couch in the back room she's allowed on). I Told her know and tried to get her down but she wouldn't budge. And When I did she'd show her teeth and snarl at me! This wasn't supposed to happen! She's house trained well but we're also having problems with chewing. She's chewed up two of our mats for the front of the garage door, chewed the end of a bookcase, AND I just found a huge hole she's been digging in the backyard. She eats things like grass, lizards, sticks, shells, and sand.

Can someone please help?!

I was playing fetch with my 4 month old American yellow lab in the yard when I threw the ball and it went under my car. My pup sped after the ball dashing under the car, and when she came out a black streak was down her back. She had probably rubbed against the exhaust pipe or something under the car that had some oil grease or auto-sludge, and now the mark wont come off. She is a very light colored lab, with a creamish colored coat, its kinda whitish. But its getting darker as she ages. So anyways, this black streak doesnt come out with water, of course this happened only an hour or so after I bathed her :). If u guys know how to get this stuff off that'd b great, water doesnt get it out. Her fur doesnt feel greasy but it sure did leave a mark. Thanks...

I can always tell when my 9 yr old golden retriever is ill because his ears go cold. he has been ill for about a week and at first he was panting a lot and he keeps going off his food a little bit, he eats but only when prompted. also if you hold your hands (with food on them) to him he pulls away when he normally licks them. he has also started lying right next to the door and instead of barking and wagging when we get home he waits until the last minute to get up. apart from this he still seems lively and playful. HELP!!!! i love my dog to bits

I have noticed very small black bugs crawling on my dog. When I say small, I mean about the size of a pen point. I don't know what they are. I have small children and want to make sure they wont harm my kids or my dog. I have an appointment to take him into the vet but they can't see him for 3 days and I want to make sure that these bugs wont harm us or him. Also, should I keeo him outside to keep the bugs from coming into the house? What can I do to get rid of them?

Why in the world do people purchase dogs from pet shops and breeders? I just dont get it. I hate it when I come across people that dont spay and nueter their dogs and/or gets it from breeders. Don't people understand that thoes dogs dont need your help??? What about dogs in animal shelters? doesn't anyone care about them? Thousands of dogs are put down every year because of overpopulation in pounds. I adopted my dog from my local county animal shelter and I had him nuetered too. He is one uniqe dog. I'm glad I saved him. If you adopt and nueter/spay your dogs the problem of overppulation could be solved. I'm sure you guys will at least understand after reading this.

P.S -this is my dog a couple months after adoption. His head is kinda big at this time since hes kind of thin. Hes much plumper now. He is 5 or 6 in that picture. I'm not sure what hes mixed with. The vet said for sure he was not a lab as many have thought in the past.

I took my puppy out for a drive to pick up dinner for the first time. I left him in the car to pick up the food, and when I opened the door, he jumped out. I thought he was going to run so I grabbed the top part of his tail. He cried really loud and now I'm worried something might be wrong with his spine. When we came home, he was wagging his tail like he normally does and when I massaged and touched the lower back area where his tail is connected, it didn't bother him. Can their spine get damaged if I pull too hard? And do you think he's fine? Thanks

Its the 'freedom of choice' paradigm isn't it? A systematic breakdown in ethical behaviour? Social collapse? We just don't know. Maybe canine AIDS will sort it all out in the end.

Lately my dog has been rubbing her butt on the carpet. I know that thats usually a sign of worms, but i have been checking her poop and haven't seen anything.
Why else could she be doing this?
