Depending on the 'use' that it has been put through. If it is just normal every day use then you should be able to take it back.
Get in contact with the people who sold it to you as they will probably want to see it laid down as it is rather than lifting it up & them saying no.

This could have happened due to a bad install job. If the planks were laid too close to the walls there may not have been enough room left for expansion.
Also if your floor got wet and it wasn't dried promptly that could cause it to swell or blister. Many laminates can't withstand water for very long.

Lamanite flooring can blister and swell for a few reasons. It is not made to withstand any water. This means only dry mopping or using a minimal amount of cleaner and manually drying it after. Even water that was dripped and not immediately cleaned up can swelling. Or the house can settle and shirt causing the joints in the flooringing to move. There is not a way to "fix" it though.

I have laminate flooring too and love it. There is a warranty on it, but I don't know if that includes blisters and swelling. That comes from the floor getting too wet and not drying it up quickly. Check the box that it come in for a copany number to call. Good Luck.

Any sort of wooden flooring takes a lot of hard work to maintain and it lasts no longer than carpet.
We've even had solid block flooring and used wax with an electric polisher, but that got to look decidedly tatty in the end and the only way to revive it was to sand it down.
Now have all ceramic tiles on the ground floor of our house - heaven!
3-months is silly - do as the previous contributor says and get the men out to inspect it. Demand they do a proper job.

The floor does not age well colour wise. The most problems seem to be where the seams are, one side tends to raise itself up where it gets trampled on by many toes. The floor just does not look nice after a few years. However you have a young child who is going to play on the floor (rather have them fall on laminate then tile or hardwood), drop things on the floor (cracked tile is the worst to fix) and 2 dogs that will tear apart hardwood in seconds. I think based on your situation you are best to go with your choice as its easy to clean, easy to replace once your child ages, the selections available are huge and its not as expensive as the alternatives. To keep the floors looking good, remember to clean and wax regualary and if problems arise with the floor, fix asap before additional damage occures. O! and never write on the cement or wood underneath the floor with a black marker as it will acutally seep through the liminate floor and be visable to everyone that its 23.5 inches from here to there...

if YOU installed it you may be screwed. If the company you bought it from installed it you need to contact them. Get names. Keep records of calls. Take pictures. You may need all of that later.
Most laminates come with a warrenty. Improper installation will void it. That makes it tough if you put it in. If YOU installed it contact a flooring specialist and see of they can tell you what's up with the flooring. Get that in writing too.
If it's in a kitchen of bathroom or in an area where there is a lot fo water you're at a loss again.

I agree with Edward. The installation was not done properly. The seams and joints should not be blistering. I have laminate flooring in my kitchen and it's great!

Call the store that you purchased it from and the installer. There should be a manufacturer's warranty. This shouldn't be happening.
