My little dog has developed a growth. It is just smaller then a dime and is pinkish red in color. It did seem it was growing but seems to have stopped. is this something to be really worried about or is it something that will go away? Please help. I don't have the money for a vet BUT if it is something that could be life threating to him I want to do what I can to protect him.

There are so many people posting stupid things on here and tons of people are responding telling them what jerks they are etc... I don't understand why we don't all just ignore their questions and then they have no reason to keep wasting our time. Yes, this is not a 'question' like it's meant to be used for but it gets tiring seeing these idiots on here and everyone playing into their hands. Use your time for the people that really want some help. I don't need ignorant responses, so ignore me if you have to.

I am a wreck. I have had my dog, Zoe since February but she doesn't get along with my other dog so we have to find someone to adopt her. I love her so, so much, but she can't stay.

All I keep thinking is that when I finally leave her with her new family, she will feel sad and abandoned. I know she'll be happy there.. but will she forget about me?
Ultimately, I hope that she would because then I wouldn't feel as bad.
I just don't want to be sitting at home, thinking, she's thinking, where am I?

Please let me know your stories/opinions..Thanks!

I'm geting an australian shepherd in a couple of months, I'm realy excited. I have a sheltie but hes just to damn mean, I made a dog house for him last year, and he never goes in it, once i tried to teach him, he went in, then went our and won't stay inside. i'm going to teach my aussie early to like her dog house, i'm going to have vines (sweet pea, morning glory) all around it, and lillies, perannuals, and other annuals around it. But if she has blue eyes, i'm going to have all the flowers blue. Whats your dog house like?

Is there a dog breed that you would never own or that you dislike? Everyone is always asking which dog breeds are their favorites so I thought I would switch it up.
Thanks !

My fiance's dog is getting quite old--13 years I think. He's always been thin but now you can't pet him without feeling his bones. Although we are feeding him senior dog food and making it appealing to him by adding wet food and sometimes even gravy (the human kind) but his weight remains fighteningly low. His skin around his face and neck is hard and flaky, and the hair is thinning. His breath could not be worse. I worry that these are symptoms of a bigger problem. He gets checkups at a vet but I am unconvinced. Should we take him to see a different vet or should we just attribute it to old age?

Due to pet overpopulation and the amount of dogs euthanized due to overcrowding in shelters, should lawmakers step up to the plate and fine irresponsible breeders?

Is it all right if i leave my 5month (right now) old american bulldog outside during the winter? right now he's inside but since we have family coming to stay with us for a couple months (wife's sister and husband) there isn't room for him and he's allerjic to dogs. Would it be alright if leave him outside for the winter if i build him a nice house with a covering and a roof? Will he be warm enough? I don't want him to get sick or anything so would this be possble.

Hi there. I have a medium sized schnoodle thats extremely hyper and gets distracted really easily. Whenever I take him out on walks he constantly pulls, sniffs the floor and tries to chase other animals. I have tried walking and stopping whenever he does this stuff but with no success. I have also tried giving him treats whenever he walks properly but he is always too distracted to care. Is there anything I could do to change him without having to pay for professional lessons?

The dog is a welsh corgi mix, her name is Dior and she is potty trained but just has the urge to pee and poop on my GF's bed. Even after so much punishment she has gotten for it, and being caught in the act of doing it, she still does it. What is the deal?

My lab has been eating acorns recently. I try to stop her because I don't know if its safe or not. Some sites tell me its not ok for dogs to eat acorns, and others tell me it is ok. So if anyone knows for sure, or can direct me to another site that tells me more about why they can or can't eat them.
