I'm in the U.S. so I don't know Indian currency, but you can get a puppy free here in the U.S. Just read the newspaper ads for free puppies. If you want a certain breed of dog the cost can be $50 to $1000.

if your talking about in food wize and such then , if your just feeding it with dry food then preety cheap in the food department .... but if its caned food , then a can cost about 67 cents per ..... and hed / shed prolly eat bout 1/4 - 1/2 a can ...... u also need a coller , and you need to get it shots . the shots will be the most expensive thing , but id say that for the first moth with all the shots and the coller , and the tags ..... plus the food for the first month u'd prolly be lookin at like $200 ... but after that your only worrys are preety much food , and that wud be like maybe 20$ a month .... but make sure u get him / her shots cuz i had a pup , and i didnt gett him shotand he got parvo

well, you need to first buy the puppy which can be anywhere from free (getting from friend/family/neighbor, etc) to thousands of dollars depending on what you want. humane society pups can be about more or less $100.
then you need a bowl, a collar, food, medical/vet vaccines and check ups for other problems later in life, a pet bed/shelter, water, toys, chewing toys for teething puppies (unless you want the dog to be chewing on your couches and shoes and stuff).

I suggest you go to the shelter..We just went to the pound today and so many daily are getting put to sleep.I wish I could take them all home.I only know american currency.The puppy at the shelter in Devore Ca are almost 100

it all depends on the breed, chiuwawa(i know i spelt that wrong) pomeranian etc. are usually from 400 to 600 and yorkies can be from 1000 to 2500 just depends just remember that small dogs need lots of extra love and care they tend to have more health problems then bigger dogs
