I am looking for this breed of dog and prepared to pay for it. However, I can't seem to find any breeders in my city of 500k population. There has to be a breeder in town. Don't want to travel beyond my city. Any ideas how I can find one?

He didn't get too eat much because I thankfully caught him, but he ate 1 mini size snickers, 1 mini size laffy taffy, and 2 starburst. Is this serious? Should I take him to the vet?

I have a puggle that loves to dig and I have no problem with it until he does it to try and get out of the yard. Is there any way I can get him to stop digging to escape? Then when he is running down the street I will call him and he things its a game he keeps running. Waits till I catch up with him then runs again. My dogs (puggle and chow chow mix) also only seem to listen to me when they feel like it or when I have a treat in my hand. They know their commands. Why don't the listen? Another problem is my one dog nips when he is playing and the both lick me constantly. I need him to stop this because I have a child on the way and I need them to start listening to me better and calm down when I tell them to. If you can help and don't have enough room on here e-mail me at belloanima676@yahoo.com. Thanks.

Our dog hasn't had a bowel movement since his surgery 2 days ago because he right hind leg is in a cast. He has eaten food so I'm sure he needs to go. Since he can't get into the squatting position due to his cast, I dont' think he's wanting to do the deed. Thanks for any help anyone can provide. We're going to also call the vet.

Could someone please tell me why some dog owners either won't or can't train their yapping dogs to shut up even though you have walked many yards away from the dogs and their owners' homes? Dogs should be trained to respond to real threats, not a person walking past their owner's house and not moving in an aggressive manner toward it. Does this annoy anyone else? If I am 20-30 feet past their property, dog owners should have it so their dogs shut up.

Which do you think is better a inside dog or an outside dog? a small dog or a large dog? Why? The reason I wanted to know all your opinions is because when i move out ( in two to four years), I would like t get an inside dog but would like to know what you all think. My dad says i will regret it because my house will be filthy and a mess because of this. But we actually had a MIn Pin several yrs ago and it seemed fine in the house. Your opinions would be appreciated!! Thanks.

I am new to dog ownership but love our new family member. I am however intrigued as to why when out for walks he has to sniff everything he passes, he's even started doing it to the car.
I feel daft asking this as all dogs sniff, but I don't know how long to leave him there (with his leg in the air) or whether to give him a gentle 'come on' tug.
Thank you so much
Kate

Its the weirdest think I have had my dog for 2 mo., she is about 1 1/2 yeard old. When I give her a dog biscuit, bone, or rawhide stick, she walks around with it in her mouth, crying and looking all around the apt trying to hide the item. It is so weird. Finally she find a place under my pillow on the couch or maybe under a rug etc. then she stopped crying. Does any one know why she does this?? Later on in the same day or maybe the next she will go and get it and eat it.

Is it okay to bathe a dog that has stitches from a spay. The incision is healed, but the vet won't take them out until Monday. They told me stitch removal in 10-14 days... today is day 10, but they won't do it! She is dirty and desperatly needs a bath!

Roger, my dog, knows all his commands. However sometimes I will give him a command and he will look at me then walk away. I know he knows how to do what I ask. But sometimes he just looks at me and walks away. The other day we were at the dog park and it was time to go so I called him and he came halfway looked at me and ran off. How do I stop this?

It doesn't seem like my dog drinks much water, and I am worried about it. I did the dehydrated test on him, and it looks like he's not dehydrated right now; however, what happens if he becomes dehydrated? Is it fatal?

I have a 10 week old pug puppy "Honey", I just recently moved in with my father and he has a golden retriever that sheds everywhere. I am curious to know if it's okay for my pug to be around this dog considering the amount of hair that this dog sheds. I don't want to have to keep her confined to my room

I have two cats, a dog and a fish. The dog's name is Roger he is a four year old husky mix. His colors are so pretty, he is white with cream colored ears and cream spots on his body. The cat's names are Lipton and Darcy. Lipton is eight and Darcy is two years old. Lipton is orange and black with streaks of brown, Darcy is a gray tabby with white paws. The fish, Midnight, is a siamese fighting fish, no idea how old, and he is blue and red. I adore them all, they are my babies. lol.
