There's a lot of Dogs that stay small. Best thing to do as far as the sheding is concerned, in my opinion, would be buy a short hair dog. most dogs shed. A short hair dog, you wouldn't notice it as much if even at all. You could try something like a Mini Pinscher, Beagle. Here's a link to a website that may help you in your decision. http://us.iams.com/iams/en_US/jsp/IAMS_Page.jsp?pageID=DBG&paidkw&source=ps06 You can also do a search for a particular type of dog. For instance small, short hair. Or very small short hair. Etc Etc.
I hope this helps:)

Yeap -- like the one I have and LOVE! I have a schoodle and got him because after research found out they are good with people with allergies and doesn't shed. Actually, my hair sheds more then his.
He's half schnauzer and half mini poodle. He's 3 yrs old and only weighs 12 lbs. So he still fits on my lap. They are smart, curious, and great watch dogs.
If you're on the East Coast I can share his breeders info. Just leave a reply to this message and I will add to my watch response section.
Other dogs who don't shed: Poodle, Maltipoo, Conton-du-telur (sp), Kerry Blues, etc.

particular that does sound like an industry ingredient to declare. think of of it like this if all and sundry right now desperate to do uncooked the dogs meals businesses could flow into financial ruin enterprise. maximum uncooked feeders I even have met make their own treats- dehydrated liver, gizzards etc. To them kibble is an EVIL word and that they do no longer even inspect the stuff. to date as canines being genetically diverse, that may not actual. in 1993 the Smithsonian and somebody else i won't be able to bear in mind reclassified canines as a subspecies of gray wolves. there is not any reason to hold back on feeding uncooked. recommendations you there is no longer something incorrect in my view with feeding extreme high quality kibble. canines do no longer want culmination and vegetables their structures are made to hire them as we do. Can they? optimistic yet why provide somebody some thing they do no longer want? And particular dogs meals is a sparkling invention, table scraps are the final ingredient canines want as a results of fact cooking differences meals on the cellular point rending meals that canines could locate in uncooked meat ineffective. we've long gone from feeding canines leftover from searching kills to table scraps to kibble or uncooked.

Toy poodles and Bichon Frise both fit this description to a T. Personally I like Bichon's, lovely, smart little dogs, without the tendency of some toy breeds to be neurotic. Google the Bichon Frise Club of America to find a list of breeders.

a Yorkshire terrier does not shed< I have one who is 4 yrs old now and only 5 lbs. shes as cute as can be. I also think a Maltese does not shed and they are pretty small like around 10 lbs. or so, and not as delicate seeming as a Yorkie.

i have a miniature poodle and he is awesome! he doesn`t shed, and he is so cute when he is really fuzzy or really bald. you have to give them a haircut every once in a while, but it is worth it. poodles don`t have many health problems, but the most common ones in poodes are:
catarax
esophagus problems
arthritis
hearing problems
(most of these develop in later life, like when they are 8-12)
my dog is nine and he is great, he only has a little bit of catarax in each eye.
(he is only 11 pounds) he likes to eat a lot, though

mexican hairless and a chinese hairless, but those aren't exactly cute. German shorthaired pointer, short haired saint bernards, but those arent exactly small. You could try a shorthaired chiuaua, dashunds, and some small poodles. Other than that there arent very many small cute, shorthaired dogs, other than those and some mutts.
