Its the weirdest think I have had my dog for 2 mo., she is about 1 1/2 yeard old. When I give her a dog biscuit, bone, or rawhide stick, she walks around with it in her mouth, crying and looking all around the apt trying to hide the item. It is so weird. Finally she find a place under my pillow on the couch or maybe under a rug etc. then she stopped crying. Does any one know why she does this?? Later on in the same day or maybe the next she will go and get it and eat it.

Sure dogs are very special animals and sometimes they do some wierd things, they are just trying to preserve the treat in hopes that you will give him another one and then he will have one for now and one for later. Or at least that is what i would do.

she's like a lot of dogs they don't want you to see when their eating a bone and are very protective of it because they don't want to get it stolen.... my dogs are weird.. i have a lab and a jack russell terrier you'd thinkthe lil dog would want the lil bone and the big dog the big one, but it's vice versa ...so sometimes i have to pry the small bone out of my labs mouth ( we dont want her to choke) and she hangs on to it for dear life ( all the time wagging her tale ( thats how labs are) no matter what i try i cant open her mouth it's like glued shut so i end up not taking it away at all....some adogs are even so possesive that they'll bite you when you touch the dog when their eating a bone or food ( this happened to me ...it was my fault though because i 4got that all dog weren't like my dog or labs that don't real;ly mind if you pet them whie you eat)

that's so problematic to inform with pups, fantastically even as they have some generations of mixed parentage (without delay crosses are somewhat more convenient). Brindling can happen following various generations of blending, in spite of the breeds contained in the pedigree, so as that could not a clue (yet Beagles are not brindle!). i will trust Pit Bull blend in the present day, yet that opinion could honestly replace in about six months! he's a cutie, little doubt.

My dog did that too. Just plain old dog behaviour. They all have their little quirks.
