My poor dog... We got her a new flea collar... We took her to get groomed and gave her a flea dip... My roommate has scrubbed her with two or three different anti-flea products and has sprayed down the whole house with flea killer. And she STILL has fleas. Any suggestions?

He started vomiting early this morning. Mostly yellow bile but some food is also coming up. He is very mopy and sad like, he wont eat anything but he is drinking more water than normal. I may know what is causing the vomiting, We accidentally left a bowl full of chocolates out on the table and he ate about 35 pieces, wrappers and all!, But that was like 2 days ago, so Im not 100 percent positive its the cause. Please help me if you can, Thanks in advance.

I have 4 dogs and want to train them to sleep in a cage/ stay in cage when we're out. What's the best way to do it? Is it best for each individual dog to have it's own cage or can we have 2 in one and 2 in the other? Any top tips for the training process?

OK, as I have stated in other questions. Our 2 month old pug puppy was doing EXCELLENT with his potty training, he always goes outside or on his pads. My hubby and I work from 7 am - 5 pm, and when we get home, surprisingly the puppy has used his pads to potty. But the second we get home, its like hes pi$$ed off at us. He poops and pees everywhere, we cant take him outside, because it is getting really cold and he freaks out and hates going outdoors, he'll just shiver and whine the whole time and won't poop or pee til we get back inside. ANYWAY, I am getting off track, when we leave him home alone he doesn't poop or pee, but he chews everything! I don't know if we'd be able to crate him, because at first we started off with a baby gate in the front hallway to our apartmentl, but he screamed until we took it down 5 hrs later. If we lived in a house, it'd be fine, but we have extremely close neighbors being an apt, and would probably get kicked out if neighbors heard him scream all day

I have a 4 month old female lab. Two days ago I notice that she was getting a pink spot right between her eyes. I didn't thin kany thing of it. Well last night she was throwing up, only once. I then went home today for lunch and seen that she was bleeding in that same spot. I cleaned her face and seen that there was no hair on that spot between her eyes. It has little red dots that form a circle. I can't get to the vet tonight but made an apointment for her tomomorr. Is there any thing I could maybe put on that spot tonight until I go to the vet???

hello, i have a question. We recientally purchased a puppy who ended up at the vet 2 days later and died two days after that. We are deep in vet bills now, and the vet says that she was sick before we bought her. My question is is the breeder responsable for atleast half of the vet bills? She has offered the money for the puppy OR another puppy (the vet said the rest would most lilkey be ill soon to with the same thing) but thats it.

We have a soft coated wheaten terrier and an irish terrier. They are both almost 8 years old. They are very calm, gentle, and friendly dogs. Intelligent too. They have behaved well since the day we got them. We give them alot of freedom. We put them both in a very brief obedience course when they were puppies but we did this so they could be properly socialized with other dogs. But I notice that some folks almost overtrain their dogs. They are extremely strict with them. Constantly scolding them. Sometimes hitting them. These types of folks often say that the dog must know who is boss. They use all types of outrageous techniques. Why even have a dog if all you are trying to do is show your superiority over an animal that is dependent on you in the first place? These folks often behave like jerks in their regular life outside of the home too. Control freaks. Gotta hate em.

He is house trained, meaning he either goes outside or on his puppy pads. But lately he has been peeing and pooping everywhere. Today he walked over to my cell phone, which was on the couch, and peed all over it. We do 'spank' him for it, then show him where to go, and when he does go on his pad/outside, he gets treats. Also, it seems he only has this problem when we are at home, whenever we are at work, he uses his pads. Is he just doing this for attention or is something medically wrong with him?
