My brother has a dog that has a testicle that is still in his abdomen and one is out. I was wondering since he is like this, can he still make pups?

I'm not a sicko or a freak. My brother wants to know.

Yes, the dog can still have puppies, and should probably be neutered to prevent this happening. (Even if the dog is a purebred, his puppies will not be very valuable to people because he has a medical "malfunction". Either way, then, the puppies are likely to have trouble finding good homes, and even if you can adopt them all out, they will be taking homes from other puppies in the pound. There are way too many "imperfect" purebreds and mutts put to sleep every year just because there are not enough homes to go around)

That said, if the dog is under two years old it is very likely that the second testicle will eventually descend (come down into the sack). Either way, the dog should be fine, and be both capable of having puppies AND of being safely neutered. Testicles do not need to have "dropped" in order to be removed surgically.

i'm advantageous in case you carry out somewhat learn you will discover the canine foodstuff on sale, or you are able to compair the components to close to an identical, yet do feed GRAIN -unfastened canine foodstuff. And it rather is unhappy which you do no longer prefer to make the attempt to help this canine that did no longer ask to be put in this place, by no ability thoughts that your very own brother desires a helping hand, think of of the undesirable animal!! What is going around comes around, you do unto yet another it is going to come decrease back to you.. If all else fails, feed boiled hamburg and rice or boiled rooster and rice.

Yes, he can still make pups. Even if he is nuetered and they only wack one ball, he can still make pups.

Hopefully it is a young dog and the other one will descend so he can be nuetered-- otherwise the procedure is much more expensive.

Yep. So get him fixed right away. One testicle is all he needs, but the undescended testicle is still active, too.

It is possible that he could breed.
Your brother should have him neutered as the risk of cancer is much higher in dogs with one testicle undecended.
