I have a 4 month old female lab. Two days ago I notice that she was getting a pink spot right between her eyes. I didn't thin kany thing of it. Well last night she was throwing up, only once. I then went home today for lunch and seen that she was bleeding in that same spot. I cleaned her face and seen that there was no hair on that spot between her eyes. It has little red dots that form a circle. I can't get to the vet tonight but made an apointment for her tomomorr. Is there any thing I could maybe put on that spot tonight until I go to the vet???

Sounds like a bite of some kind to me.. poisonous spider? Wont hurt her to give her some benadryl. The kind you get at the store is 25 mg per pill.. If your dog is close to 50 lbs you can give her two pills twice a day. Otherwise, if she is still in the 25-30 lb range try giving her one pill and see if it helps her feel any better. She could be having an allergic reaction to it. Just make sure her breathing and everything is good. -- just for the bite site try putting some neosporin on it for now.

IN the case that it is ringworm, just make sure you wash your hands a lot and don't handle that area excessively.

The spot sounds like she's got ringworm. That wouldn't make her throw up, it's probably just a coincidence. Take her to the vet for a check up and get some ringworm medicine from him too.

Xena's vet told me (in our case anyway) that it's just something puppies do. The night we brought her home, she was walking around coughing, gagging and hiccupping. A million things went through my head, bloat, defective puppy, terminal cancer, etc. I was basically told I was a lunatic and not to worry so much I'm putting the vet's kids through college with all my diagnoses... she's never had anything actually wrong with her though.

Sounds a bit like Ringworm. Be sure to wash your hands thoroughly after handling puppy, it is highly contagious!!. Not much you can do. Best wait to see the vet. I hope your puppy will be ok. Good luck.

This happened to my friend's puppy. Hers ended up having mites. For now, I would keep yours separate from your other pets. Get to the vet first thing tomorrow just in case. Don't worry, she won't die from mites, she will just be itchy. If she is itching you can give her a small benedryl.
