1: Make it more interesting than its surroundings. Put a fun toy inside it and clear out the area around it, so he gets bored and decides to go check out the house.

2: train him to go in on command. Toss treat in, say 'house' and praise him when he goes in. He will associate it with pleasant things like treats and praise, and start to enjoy it.

3: spend time next to the house with him in it. This helps him not to feel abandoned or alone when he is still getting used to it.

Also just some caution (you may already know this): Very few breeds can handle cold weather if you live in that climate, the only exceptions would be working northern breeds. Hot weather is also sometimes an issue, as is bad weather like wind, storms, snow, etc. The dog should spend most of its time indoors socialising with your family. A dog will not do well if it is constantly left outside with no human interaction.

DON'T EVER FORCE A DOG TO LIKE SOMETHING. let the dog sniff the house out. If it doesn't like it try putting treats in it. Let the dog slowly walk into the house. Play with it in the house. Take about 15 minutes to do that. If he/she is comfortable, extend the time longer. REMEMBER THE DOG HAS TO BE COMFORTABLE WITH HIS/HER SURROUNDINGS. Don't abondoned the dog in the house, that will make it more uncomfortable. Talk to your dog. When the dog is ready to be about an hour in the house, have it take a nap in there. If it doesn't want to, let the dog choose where to take its nap then move the bed slowly everyday closer to the house. IT WILL SOON LIKE ITS HOUSE.

My dogs were not at all interested at first with there dog house. I put them in it and threw some chew toys and some treats in there. I put a big fluffy old pillow and blanket in it. And soon enough they got used to it and liked it.
Good Luck!

Place a favorite toy or blanket in the dog house that may entice him/her to enter. The treat idea that was mentioned is good suggestion as well. If nothing else I guess you could crawl in the dog house yourself and see if he/she would enter.
