And no, there is no mother. Just the puppy. It's been almost 2 full days now, but he seems to be eating just as much as before and not in any discomfort...he's always cold like a chiuaua, but that's supposed to be normal for his breed. Should I wait a little longer seeing as he seems fine? or rush him to the vet??

this what the bbc says about gay animals.
is there something we can do about it?
is there any thing i could do if i find my dog to be gay. I dont want to kill him but if he is gay i might just do that.

About 10 months ago I had a puppy who died of parvo... and the first sign was dierreha, that was basically just brown mucuosy liquid! It also had a horrible smell...
Now with a new puppy, I'm trying to be extra cautious with her health. And the sign of a soft smelly stool scares me, it just started today... should I be worried? She's going in for shots next week, should I ask the vet? or should I take her now?

He's the smaller brown dog, and he's about 4-5 months old in the pictures.

I've been told by a few people that've seen him in person that he's an APBT (the actually working type pit bull, not the mutated 90 lb asthma prone bow legged kind).

Here are a few pics of APBT:
The reason I though APBT is because I found a few pics of these APBT's:

Has anyone else experienced this problem? A friend of mine's dog ate a paintball and died 5 days later after a lot of suffering.

ok, I am the sit and do nothing kind of person on my bus, and I overhear this story:
There is this dog, and this kid goes up to it, breaks three of its legs, cuts the tops of it's ears off, ties it's tail to one of it's broken legs, and cuts half of the toungh off. after that, he puts its body up to it's neck into a trash bag, then leaves it in a ditch. While it's still alive. Then, th next day at school, he brags about it.

-i found this on a forum, this kid that typed it is really sad

Two weeks ago, I found a couple of ticks on my dog. I got rid of them. I figured that was it and she hasn't been acting strange or out of the ordinary. But today, when I checked her she was completely infested with ticks...engorged and all! I almost threw up. I was able to get rid of most of them today, except maybe in the ears. I'm scared to take her to the vet. What if they have to put her down? I know this probably sounds stupid, but have you ever heard of a dog being put down for a tick infestation? I know I'll end up taking her anyway, but I just wanted to know if anyone else has had this experience before.

Thanks

I recently looked after my brother's dog for two weeks while he was away on holiday. We get on brilliantly (me and the dog, that is) and because I have a huge field very near by, I took him out maybe 7 - 8 times per day because I love to see him so happy, plus he's a very 'outside' kind of dog. Now my brother has returned and the dog has gone back. I'm now riddled with guilt because I know that, at best, he'll only get two walks per day. I picture him pining for me and the walks, and becoming depressed because of all the built up energy that can't escape. Did I spoil him? and will he be okay with just two walks a day?

My dog urinated in bed the other morning. Totally out of character! My 5-year-old spayed Rottweiler had cruciate surgery 7 days ago. She urinated in her kennel at the vet right after waking up from anesthetic...not uncommon. She's not had an accident in the house since she was a pup & she has been recovering from the surgery remarkably well. She's very well-behaved.
My Rott never sleeps on the floor and early in the morning she went to the floor which is not typical. She was licking between her legs a lot and that's when I discovered she had urinated in the bed.
Her bathroom habits are totally normal. She urinates one time outside, & empties her bladder. Were she urinating frequently, I would suspect a bladder infection. But I really don't believe that's the case. If she had a pain response from moving the wrong way on her leg, I'm sure she would have yelped. If surgery related, why after 7 days? She looks guilty as if she's done something wrong. Why would she do that??

I have two pups.. well my bf and I fight over how to teach the dogs. He believes in rubbing their nose in to their poop and whipping them and throwing them outside.. how ever I believe in doing putting papers down and placing their poop on the paper and they start to go there?? I hate to hear them whine and cry when he smacks them.. How do we house train puppies properly? Also they don't come back when you call how do you get them to mind us?
