The last 2 days my dog started to have quite alot of tears in his eyes and took more sleep than before.

I'm not sure but there alot of firecrackers being played now.
My mongrel is starting to sleep longer, is very warm, and seems to be very cold....
He is also less active.

Yeah, what he said. If you have trouble giving your dog pills, put them in peanut butter... works for my dog...

If by chance it is an allergy you might want to try and remember what you had been doing in the home that would cause an allergic reaction.
Was there smoke, aerosol spray, incense or potpourri put out in the last few days? Maybe your dog was standing near a car that had its motor running a little longer than usual, something different happened to his/her environment that would cause a reaction.

allergies, never give meds without checking with a vet first, dogs and other animals have dif reactions and need dif doses then humans

allergies. use benedryl tablets. only use one at a time tho. call a vet and they can tell you which ones to get.
