As a breeder, I've been asked this question by potential puppy buyers, and I am totally against it. It's just not the right time in their life; puppies need TIME -- so do dogs! Can these PEOPLE go TEN HOURS without going to the bathroom?? Why do they expect their dogs to? What do you think?

Does anyone know who I can contact to buy a clumber spaniel puppy. I have been looking for one for alomost 3 years. I would like to get one for the family. If we could we would like to actually get to pick a male out from a litter of pups. We are looking for something around 2-5 months old or if you know someone you could reference to me please do so. It has to be purebred and have it's papers. please reply, it's very important to me.

They always post with something like, "go to AKC.org, you dumb-***" or "you guys are so stupid about animals". Maybe we want input from other people? Maybe there are stories that the AKC cannot provide? I thought this website was for fun and to interact with others with similiar interests. Anyone notice these *PEOPLE* on here?

I found a small dog (about 20lbs.). She is clean, healthy looking, and very friendly and happy. She is also housetrained. I also already have one dog, 3 cats, a rabbit, and a hermit crab. She barks at my cats and they are terrified of her. They go and hide for hours if the new dog is in the house. My old dog (13yrs) doesn't seem to mind her, but she barks at my rabbit in his cage too. How can I make everyone get along and except the new dog? She may be about 2 yrs old. Very calm and obedient. I love her already. What can I do? Help!!

We have five big dogs as we have a big garden in our compound that are enjoyed to stay with, but we always separate the one who is a half crossed breed pit ball with the other because she is always fighting with the two I mentioned. This two is German Shepherd & Labrador, but not pure bread. Any idea out there?

Since my mini Dach is so close to having her pups, I've already made her a safe and comfortable place for her to give birth. But, after I clean up the mess when the pups are born and replace the blankets, do I need to keep a heating pad in there with them so they won't get cold or will they be okay without one? We keep our thermostat set on around 75 degrees in the summer so it's not cold in here or hot to us humans, but would it be cold to newborn pups?

Also, I know that when the pups come, they're gonna be crying at night. Anyone know how we can get some sleep? Our "Mama" dog sleeps with us, so her birthing place is in our bedroom, and her pups are gonna stay in there with us at night too.

Thanks in Advance!
