My dogs name is care bear, and her dogs name is be. care bear is the only dog that ben gets along with. why would this be? they are both males.

Maybe because the dog is not well socialized. Could be because your dogs have known each other since they were puppies. Maybe your dog is very laid back and not perceived as a threat. Is your dog neutered? Could be several reasons. Maybe you expect them to get along, so you and your friend act differently and the dogs sense it, whereas with other dogs, your friend doesn't make her dog behave.

They are both playful dogs.
Get a real dog and get a German Shepherd.
