well it depends, she probally looks healthy huh but sometimes a female dog gets into these sorta moods when they get about 8 and 1/2 yrs. old so i would say its normal...... unless your dog is internally bleeding

You don't say how many days. My dogs are all on self-feed so they eat when they want, and they have days when they'll eat next to nothing. But not more than 1 day in a row. I would get another opinion on what might be normal because that makes me leary. (The bichons I've known did not go without eating ever.)

Well, if the vet says so....???

Personally, I think it isn't right and would take your dog to a different Vet. Geez, I have a friend whos dog stopped eating and they did some tests and it turned out that the dog had stomach cancer and died within the week. Don't take a chance with the pet that you love and find out what is going on.

I would think it is not normal and would see another vet. If you open fed your dog they are more likely not to eat as would a dog that gets fed 2 times a day.

I don't know how normal it is but my 3 year old golden does the same thing. He is healthy and I just had him to the vet and she did not seem worried.

sometimes is normal.. cause sometimes dog will suddenly dun eat or fussy on food no matter how old they are.. (if u didnt change his food or give him eat something which he normally dun get to eat.) *feed him some nutri-paste (u can buy fr pet shop) which can give him energy 4 this few days n it helps him to hv appeti to eat his food also..
