PIT BULLS! I have a thing for the "under dog". I own one Pit Bull and he is one of my best friends... I plan on getting another when I get more settled in life. Of course I will adopt my next one from a rescue shelter.
Pits have a bad rap but honestly they are some of the best dogs I have ever met. Just remember the next time you see a "Pit Bull attacks" story in the paper that the media never tells the whole story and often lie. Plus the media are not dog experts and sometimes it is hard to tell a Pit Bull from one of the other dozen look a like breeds (even for experts this can be a challenge). Also how a dog is raised and whether they are spayed/neutered has alot to do with it. I just would like to see people educate themselves about this marvelous breed. Remember all dogs are capable of biting, and also for every Pit that does bite there 10s of thousands that don't.
Did you know that Pit Bulls have a higher passing rate from the American Temperament Society (83% passing) than the Golden Retriever.
Or did you know that on the top ten list of dogs that attack Pits didn't even make the list?
They are painted darkly by the media and my rumor.
Stop BSL!

well...I did wanted a doberman once and i got it when it was a little puppy but when it grew up it was extremely disloyal and lazy and one day it ran away ! Many years later I got a mongrel from some poor family that could not afford to look after it so i took care of this mongrel and as it grew up it was playful ( same gender as my earlier dog)
, active, very loyal and a very good companion to me but ALAS ! one fine day as i was alone in the house i went to play with my dog for some company but later i saw a group of people approaching me and to my horror they told me that my ever loyal dog had been killed by a BLOODY taxi cab driven by an ediot driver.....now...many years have passed and I will always remember my favourite dog, the mongrel ( not the doberman ) as my ever favourite dog and she will always stay in my memories.....................................

I have a retriever/collie mix, and a beagle/terrier mix. Personally the retriever mix is my favorite, then again, he is mine. Haha. :) He's currently in training to be a SAR (Search & Rescue) dog. :)
