Trust me: it is either an Old English Sheepdog puppy or a Bearded Collie pup. Both breeds lighten up as they get their adult coats & mature. Look on www.akc.org for more information - both breed profiles have a place to view photos, including puppies. The Bearded Collie photos there even have a similarly marked pup - its coat is a bit longer, though, as it is probably about 10-12 weeks old, whereas the one in your ad is probably 7-8 weeks old. Check it out! http://www.akc.org/breeds/bearded_collie/photos.cfm

Looks like an English Sheepdog. They don't get really shaggy until they're a bit older. They are the most adorable puppies!

I believe this is an old English Sheepdog Pup--they turn lighter as they age--to a silvery gray.

Whatever it is, it's a puppy. Maybe a sheep dog. All puppies kind of look the same to me.

It would be very unusual coloration for a shepdog. It greatly resembles a border collie pup.
