He been at my place for two weeks. The first week he was perfect - no accidents, pretty sweet, pretty submissive. Now, he's peeing all over my apartment-mate's stuff (not mine), biting (though, playfully), and generally acting dominant/excited/aggressive. Also, he goes wild when I we run into other dogs on the street. I am trying to leash train him - and teach to him sit etc. He's not neutered - but will be shortly - as soon as he's over his kennel cough...

My boyfriend just bought a jack russell pup and when we left for work we crated him. I work only 5 mins away so i came home at lunch to let him out and he had peed in the crate. I put him in a baby playpen before going back to work and came home 3 hours later and found him and the playpen covered in poop. Okay, that won't work, so this time i put him in a closed bathroom. Came home to a poop covered bathroom floor from him playing in it. My maltese never did this, i'm not leaving him for more than a few hours, and i've never heard of a dog that will wallow in his own poop. I can't be cleaning all this up all the time, i'm leaving work to clean for nearly an hour at a time. my sanity and job are at stake here!

He is crate trained, and only does this occassionally. He usually goes outside. Sometimes I let him out to go, and he pees, but doesn't poop. He just walks around in circles and explores the yard.l How can I get it into his head that he shouldn't poo in the house. Do all small dogs do this.

I have a 3 year old boxer I got from a friend. He does have lyme disease. He is not or have never been housebroken, he gets punished when he does do something wrong. He also eats things off the counters when we are not home, he never did this before it is a new habit, we kick his butt and he still does it. How can i get him to take a hint!

My shih tzu hasn't been eating for two days. He just has two to three nibbles and then stops. I've taken him to the vet and my dog turned out to be in good health. I've tried mixing his regular food with a little meat and he still won't eat. I'm really worried about him. I play with him and take him out for walks, all the usual routine but it doesn't work. I'm running out of ideas. Please help!

We have a Boston Terrier named Dandy . she is 4yrs old.. I have taught her with Hand signals and verbal commands.. her best trick is she can sit back on her hind haunches, and when she shakes your hand from this position she places her other hand over yours gently... it's so sweet

at times i swear she reads my mind, with just a look she will do as i ask.. it's really strange.. she hates the word BATH... lol she will jump up in my hubby's lap looking for escape..

tell me about the Dog or Dogs in your life... past or present.. got a favorite dog tale to share?
