Does a pedigree dog have any advantages over a common mongrel except appearance and prestige? Purely as a pet as opposed to a working dog

Thanks!

my question is should i take him?...I have 3 kids and another dane already but my biggest fear is bringing a dog that i can't read home to my family..the man is asking a substantial amount for him and i feel like i might be promoting unethical treatment ....but my heart is saying get him out as fast as i can...would you take him home?

Do you believe it is ok for people to say that you can't have a dog only because of its breed? Do you believe it's ok for someone to come into your home, take your pet, and murder it because of its breed?

If the AKC were more interested in humane and ethical practices, than making money, there would be no puppy mills and no back yard breeders. The misery of literally millions of animals would come to a screeching halt.

she does not walk on her four legs. she doesn't touch her rear leg to the ground. last night I took her out for her usual walk and everything was ok and normal. after that she went to her crate and slept. same routine as every other night. but this morning when she got up to go for her morning walk , I noticed that she is using only three of her legs. i checked it out and there is no sores or any kind of swollening. what could be wrong? she is up to date for all her shots and she is one year old lab/retviever. please help me.

I bought my toy poodle about 10 months ago, when she was tiny, she just turned a year old May, I've heard and read in books that poodles are supposed to be very calm and very good dogs, but my poodle is WILD! She is so hyper all the time and bouncing around 24/7. I know she is still young, but is this normal??
